This hotel is right on a charming adorable plaza, but far away from the major plazas where nighttime festivities can go on all night. I was so surprised that our room, which overlooked this small plaza was incredibly quiet - the double paned windows were extraordinary (I'm must have total quiet at night). The room had all you needed and... More

We loved this little hotel - beautifully situated in a great wee square in an ideal area of Pontevedra. We stayed here for one night on the Camino and I have to say, this hotel and Pontevedra itself made it our favourite stopover.

Lovely little hotel located on a gorgeous plaza. Pretty difficult to find from the train station but worth the walk. Comfortable room, nice bathroom, and easy to check in. Really noisy at night though (3am!!!) which was unfortunate. However, had a good nights sleep and was pleased that we had chosen to stay here.

Pontevedra is one of the nicest towns in this part of Galicia, really good for wandering, relaxing, eating and drinking, and this hotel is wonderfully located in one of the nicest little squares with lots of restaurants right on the doorstep. The staff were very friendly and helpful (even though not all spoke English), and directed us to a nearby... More

the hotel has internal dining rooms, but this review is for their outdoor eating area, in a lovely tree lined square next door. this is just what you imagine old european cafe society to be like. we enjoyed crisp white wine and tapas at about 1030pm. the square was gorgeous and atmospheric; the food was very good - the clams... Yes, if you get a room on the square or the street, this place is noisy. Unless you close the windows and use the AC. In May it seemed the AC was not on yet. I just used my earplugs and my husband was able to sleep through the noise. We talked to other people who had rooms on the... More

Very noisy! A really bad place to stay if you want to get a good night sleep and need to rise early like we did because we were doing the Camino. The recepcionist should have warned us about the noise or at least put us in a room that didn't face the plaza underneath...

Great location central to the old town with plazas on both sides of the building and next to the museum. Lots of cafes and restaurants near by, which are hopping on Friday and Saturday nights. The price was a bit high compared to other small towns, but definitely worth it.
