The location is perfect, we arrived all the way by car till the door of the hotel. The style of the hotel also being inside the old city couldn't be better for the value of money. It was well sound proofed with double windows. Loved everything actually, only expect to pay 10 euros for parking not free like others said.

Centrally located in the historical part of Pontevedra. The hotel itself is very basic, the rooms are tiny with very little space to move around. Facilities are minimally with no refrigerator, air dryer, nor television. I was lucky that the weather didn't absolutely require air conditioning even though it was July, since the AC didn't really work. It's supposed to... More

This hotel offers nice and tidy rooms in the historic centre few hundred feet from the Camiño crossing the city. The breakfast is somehow short but the room was comfortable. The location is also excellent closed to many restaurants. Plenty of choices.

Maybe we just got a bad room but our experience here does not match the majority of the good reviews. We were assigned an interior room which was dark and danky. The window opened up to some sort duct work system and wall. No natural light at all, couldn't even tell if it was day or night outside. More importantly... More

Stayed here whilst walking the Camino. Fantastc location in centre of old town. Lovely architecture. Rooms are compact but comfortable. My only criticism is that the air conditioning in the rooms (friend had same issue with their room) is very poor which makes for a difficult sleep. Breakfast and dinner: delicious.

Good hotel, room very comfortable, air conditioned and double windows kept out noise. Superb location. We were booked in half board, when we went to order dinner we were told we could have €12 towards our food, set menu was €20 - we paid the extra, food was fantastic but thought it was a bit smart!!

The Hotel Ruas was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in on our Camino trip. The rooms are not large, but nicely furnished with a good bathroom. It was spotlessly clean and looked as if it had been refurbished recently. The shutters and double windows prevented it being noisy even though we faced on to a beautiful tree filled... More

I booked this Hotel on two occasions for groups walking the Camino Portuguese. The accommodation for the price is excellent. Plenty of space in the triple room I shared. A great location, close to the main plaza, with a very good Restaurant down below. An extremely pleasant and helpful staff made our stay all the more enjoyable.

My wife and I stayed here for one night when walking the Camino. The hotel is situated in a nice square in the centre of Pontevedra and just off the route of the Camino so ideally placed from that perspective. Our room wasn't the biggest but had everything we needed - including a bath to soak our weary feet! There... More

This is great little hotel right in the centre of Pontevedra. The rooms are a good size with all the little "freebies" you expect from a pricier hotel (razor, shaving cream, toothbrushes and toothpaste). My room also had a bath which was great for soaking away the day's walking aches. There is a lively cafe downstairs and a restaurant attached... More
