There were six of us in our party and Villa Eva was the best place we stayed. The people were very sweet. The rooms were clean. We got clean towels everyday, which we didn't in other places. The pool was refreshing. Breakfast, bar and snack bar were good. Yes, there were mosquitoes but it's a tropical island! Doubt one could... more

We loved our stay at Villa Eva, Eva and her family go out of their way to make all the needs of the visitor are taken into account. Ofcourse Anacapri is not a short walk from the Marina Grande, however Villa Eva will pick you up and return you at a price far less expensive than the street taxis. The room... more

Well let me first say that I didnt choose this hotel, my friends did. From the pier, it is about a 40 euro cab ride to the hotel. The hotel is completely out of the way from anywhere...and is about a 10 minute walk uphill to the bus station. When we first got to our room, one of my friends... more

What a terrible experience. This was m second time visiting Capri, and what a different experience the second time. Villa Eva is out of the way from everything. Not quaint at all. There were mosquitos everywhere. The room was horrible. Thin walls, no A/C, and run down plumbing. There are very few restaurants in the area. Eva herself was a... more

Simple, Clean, Nice, Quiet. this place is great if you are planning to stay in anacapri. the location is great: you have the blue grotto 5 minutes away, the faro beach another 5 min. away, anacapri downtown 5 min. away (in scooter or taxi. some15 - 20 min. walking). nice gardens, nice pool, ok owners ... i recomend this place. more

We were so excited about our stay at Villa Eva. After looking at their website, we contacted Villa Eva directly and booked a double room for 2 nights. When we arrived at Anacapri, we had been told that Villa Eva could be easily reached by foot. After we started to walk in the direction of where we though Villa Eva... more

We just returned from our stay at this awful place. I have never slept so bad in my life! Beds are very old and extremely uncomfortable !!! After changing rooms we discovered that ALL beds there are old and disformed! Backpain lasted for all our stay and I was SOOOO happy to LEAVE this place. At check-out Eva wanted to... more

I have just returned from a 7 day stay with my wife, daughter, her husband and baby son. My wife and I have a good sized room with small seated area inside a screened window with a large double bedroom plus small ensuite. The room was kept very clean with fresh towels daily. There was a large terrace plus a... more

We have just returned from a pleasant 7 days at Villa Eva. The problem some other visitors seem to have had may well relate to the very high ranking Villa Eva gets in Lonely Planet and Dorling Kindersley. That rating though relates more to the beautifully tended sub tropical gardens that surround the complex than to the accommodation which is... more

After looking at Villa Eva's website we were looking forward to our stay there but were a little disappointed. The grounds are beautiful, lovely and secluded with exotic plants and trees, but with lots of mosquitoes. Although our room was very clean, it was much smaller and much more basic than those pictured on the website and did not have... more
