Our first choice was JK Place but the place was sold out so we decided to stay at the Capri Palace & Spa. I knew it was not in the heart of Capri but in Anancapri, a short 5 minute drive from Capri. Like most hotels of its class on the island, we were greeted by someone when we arrived... more

Stayed here, for nearly a week in Aug. Great location up in the relatively quite location of Anacapri, well away from the hustle and bustle of the main town Capri. Assuming that's what you are looking for! The hotel itself is well appointed in Anacapri, with a decent sized pool area, and outdoor public areas, which are all well maintained,... more

I just wanted to write up my experience of Capri Palace Hotel. I spent many months deliberating whether to stay at this hotel four my honeymoon and in the end gave in to the high price and spent 6 nights here having read people's comments on Tripadvisor. My overall thoughts of the hotel are that it is beautifully decorated, rooms... more

We've just returned from a 5 day break in Capri and spent 2 nights at the Capri Palace - overall it was quite disappointing. I used Tripadvisor when planning the trip and agree with the other reviewers about the very high prices and the atmosphere at the hotel, particularly the pool scene.I live and work in central London and regularly... more

we've stayed in the hotel for 4 nights - this is definitely not a 5star+ hotel having a basic room i have to say it is mostly 3 star room - tiny, the furniture is cheap, floor tiles come from 70ties, shower leaks in all directions (i have to admit - the necessary one also :) so whatever the management... more

Just returned from 3 nights at the Capri Palace and i have to say that im really dissapointed. We stayed in a sea view room (650e per night i think...) which is by the most over priced room weve ever stayed in. The room was tiny; ok bed, tv with reasonable channel choice, small balcony (which next door can easily... more

The best things : The views. Stunning views of the whole Bay . The Location. It is very central so you can easily stroll everywhere. Wellness-Spa. It has been renovated recently and has a variety of facilities. It also has a particularly interesting menu. The food is good. Although there are a few restaurants outside the hotel really worth visiting.... more

The hotel is located up on the hillside (Anacapri), away from the hustle and bustle of Capri main town...which is heaving during the day with visitors from the mainland. Avoid at all costs! I would recommend keeping your visits to Capri town for later in the evening the locals re-appear, the lights dim and the atmosphere turns into a true... more

We stayed for a week at the Capri Palace in October, 2005 and we always said we will return one day. We were impressed from the moment we walked into the Foyer. The decor is wonderful and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. We went at the end of the season, so it was very quiet, especially in the bar... more

Capri is still a romantic place. The palace is the most established hotel there. There are a lot of charming small hotels in Capri but we stayed here because of the spa. The only problem with the hotel is probably the fact that the rooms and some of the areas need that they are a bit dated and could do... more
