We accidentally locked ourselves out of the apartment we'd rented on our first night in Agia Efimia; I called the Olive Bay in a panic at 10pm and although it was so late and the manager was finishing for the evening, she very kindly stayed and waited for us, found us a room and made us comfortable. We were so... More

Just home from a weeks stay with Amalia at the Olive Bay hotel. What a great time we both had. The room was a fantastic size and kept immaculately clean by housekeeping. The balcony was a great size for watching the boats and yachts and had very comfy chairs. The hotel is perfectly positioned fr the harbour and restaurants, the... More

Had a lovely time at this hotel. Great rooms over looking the sea and beautifully looked after. Ok bathroom maybe a little small and wi fi not brilliant but so what! You get well looked after and nothing too much trouble.. The hotel is great place for seeing rest of island and in the actual town you have a number... More

Good location, but up a small hill, but you do then get the benefit of the views. Welcomed by not just water, but tea, coffee, milk, jams etc. Also available in the reception area. There was a book exchange too with lots of choice. Balconies have umbrellas, the hotel will provide for the beach too. This is not a hotel... More

Great hotel with very nice location i Agia Efimia. We stayed here for one week, and the location was great for exploring the rest of the island. The hotel room has the neccesary facilities including a small kitchen so that you can enjoy a breakfast at the balcony. Amalia was a great host, very friendly and helpful. Free parking is... More

First of all Greece and the Greek people are warm and kind. Here our welcome was typical Greek, with a young girl Amala greeting us with a warm smile, and giving us all the information we needed for our stay. Little things like coffee in the lobby, coffee and tea in the room, chairs and umbrellas for the beach, and... More

Hotel in Great location in town, nicely appointed rooms, shame doors are so loud and you hear everyone coming and going at every hour.... Didnt sleep for 4 nights unfortunately. But a lovely hotel all the same.

We stayed here for 10 days in June 2014, we have been Kefallinia several times before and Agia Efimia once. The Olive BAY Hotel is small (about 18 rooms), family run and delightfully situated just outside the town with stunning views over the Ionian Sea to Sami. The rooms are air conditioned studio apartments with a small kitchenette area which... More

We came here for part of our honeymoon and it was perfect! Lovely hotel with very nice and helpful staff. The hotel is in a great location, and our view of the ocean was stunning. We drank coffee on our private balcony in the morning, and walked to the beach immediately in front of the hotel for an afternoon swim.... More

This was our first visit to Greece and we were very fortunate to have selected these apartments for our accommodation. Our room was spacious and had everything we could wish for in order to cook and make a cuppa!, like a home from home. Exceptionally clean with fantastic sea views and being only a short walk to the harbour and... More
