We booked this hotel through an agency for 3 nights. We kind of expected that it would be a busy "disney style" hotel. Regardless of weather one likes this type of hotels or not, we chose it for two reasons: 1) it's conveniently close to the park (we expected the rooms to be soundproof) 2) it's got an indoor and... The staff is very friendly and thoughtful. The location is excellent in the center of the city. A lot of restaurants, beautiful surroundings. And also very clean. Great breakfast. Room has everything you need.

Great location along with the other Europa Park hotels situated towards the rear of the park. Hotel guests at Europa Park have their own park entrance gate, their own Monorail stop, and are granted early entry/access to certain rides 30-60 minutes before park opening each day. The hotel itself is a Spanish theme (along with the two adjoining hotels which... More

Me and my family we had a lovely evening in this Restaurant, really cool with typical Spanish atmosphere, every single dish were very very good and the buffet was great! If you go to the EuropaPark you must have a lunch or dinner here!

We traveled to hotel Castillo Alcazar with our 2 children aged 8 and 11 and we all had an absolute blast. I have to admit that the hotel has exceeded my expectations as I was quite skeptical of what I would get from a "theme" hotel. The decoration is really well done, and everything matches the "old castle" style. The... More

Although we have visited the park itself many times, it was the first time we decided to stay in Castillo. What a great decision! Since there was 5 of us and a dog we decided to get the Princess Tower (which literally is a huge tower absolutely amazingly decorated). The "room" was worth every Euro. Spacious consisting of several huge... More

We booked the Hotel Castillo Alcazar for the Thanksgiving holidays, and I really enjoyed the stay. Checking in was a breeze, the room was impeccable, did not have to call for service, or assistance during our time there. Breakfast was included, and it had a complete selection, not just the usual "continental". The EP-Express train stop is a 3 minute... More

We went for a little journey to the "Europa Park" and booked this hotel. The reception is the same as the Hotel El Andaluz and you have a little parkhopuse for your car. The check-in took some time , because the most people come in the morning, because you have an half an hour earlier acces to the park. The... More

We did enjoy our stay however some staff were not so welcoming, the staff meeting and greeting looked tired or fed up and just looked on as we looked lost!!.(We had to check in at one of the other hotel reception but we knew that and we were fine with that) We did arrive early (before 3.30pm) when we asked... We spent two nights at this hotel. It is a great location, all the amenities are are well appointed. The reception staff are extra helpful and nothing is too much for them. All the staff speak several languages and are very patient with even the youngest patrons. The buffet meals are plentiful with a wide choice that meet all tastes.... More
