What can I say?! Amazing, wonderful, tranquil, and beautiful combined with 5* service & food provided by Katie, Peter and their team. Our family and friends (40 of them) were all singing the praises of this delightful gem set in the Ariege. I cannot recommend this hotel/restaurant highly enough.

Thank you Katie and Peter for such a truly, memorable stay at the beautiful Abbey. Everything was perfect. We loved the Lavande room we stayed in, the breakfasts were superb, both inside and out, depending on the weather. We also took advantage of the restaurant and what an experience that was. Your chef is amazing. We will certainly recommend your... More

We found the Chateau de Camon when looking for a somewhere to stay on our way back from the south east of France to the south west, just one night. It has enormous charm, a little magic. Not over-renovated, but decorated with taste, and largely comfortable. The fixed dinner menu was also excellent, as was the selection of local wines.... More

Came for a meal in may with my fiancé and our mothers. Expensive but worth it. Beautiful scenery especially when we sat on the terrace with a bottle in the sun before the meal. The building is stunning and When it got dark a chap turned on the lights in the cloisters so we could see more. Would recommend. We... More

This is the second time we have been to the Abbey in Camon. As with last time the owners Peter and Katie are very welcoming, the place is amazing and the food exceptional. Only four nights this time round for a long weekend in October. We will be back again.

We stayed for two restful nights in this most unusual spot in Camon which offers a half dozen beautifully appointed rooms. Space to stretch out. Peace and quiet. Gardens and pool. Owners welcoming and always cheerfully helpful. Perfect breakfast and truly outstanding gourmet dinner. Outside dinner guests were welcome.

This hotel is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed - the decor being half abbey with stone walls & sconces with candles and the other half a stereotypical chateau with beautiful detailing. We stayed in Lavande, a blue &white room facing the valley and onto the mountains which was gorgeous. The pool is great as it's set in... More

We visited this beautiful abbey for a friend wedding and had the chance to stay here for two nights. We were both blown away by the sheer beauty of the place which has been lovingly retired by the owners. We stayed on the first floor in the Lavender suite which afforded us fantastic views across the countryside towards the Pyrenees.... More

If you are thinking of getting married here, do not hesitate. It's fairytale like setting is a never ending photographers dream, with beautiful gardens, outstanding interior, with original 15th century features if I remember correctly. The food was fantastic, as was the hospitality. The surrounding countryside is another thing to marvel at, I would go back in a heartbeat if... More
