We've done our share of traveling, but I don't know how you could not consider this hotel as having one of the top views in the entire world. Set high on a hill overlooking the Gulf of Porto and just outside the Calanches de Piana, this is one special location. The hotel itself is aptly described in the other reviews.... More

Ever seen "A Room with a View" and wished you could step back in time to that sort of pensione? Now imagine it with the most heavenly view you can imagine, and that is Les Roches Rouges. It's a lovely story, a derelict old "grand hotel" from the 20's which has been refurbished (and is clearly run as a labour... More

This is a very old hotel and that's what makes it special. There is a wonderful terrace for sitting out and watching the sunset. The restaurant is excellent - high quality food and very attentive service. We stayed half board which meant a set menu (foie gras and cod), which I did not mind, but I know some people who... More

I felt like I was entering another era when I arrived at this hotel. There is an overall sense of graciousness and relaxation, and an attention to aesthetics and detail which is evident in the lovely dining room, the fantastic terrace, and the food. The bedrooms, as has been noted in other reviews, are huge, rather spare, with creaky floors... More

We spent a week at this hotel and were very happy with our experience there. The staff speak little English and my French is poor but we were made to feel very welcome and staff went out of their way to make our stay friendly and happy.. The view from our room was outstanding and the breakfasts were excellent. Piana... More

The panoramic view from the terrace (and from our balcony room) is the best I've ever seen. Overlooking the Golfe de Porto, the Calanches de Piana. Every day a different menu with fresh food en delicious wines. An superb service from the friendly staff! Don't miss this hotel when visiting Corsica.

I have nothing at all to criticize!! The rooms have very high ceilings. The views are fantastic, both from the room and from the breakfast area/bar. There is a wonderful restaurant downstairs with amazing food and service. The décor is really different and interesting. For its price is fantastic value for money. It has the feel of a very expensive... More

A touch of ancient days rests in this hotel. A bit old fashioned, but With charm and a marnificent wiev from the terrace. A bit far to the beach, but interesting winding road down there if you are not scared of steep hills. Nice, clean bathroom.

Stayed there two nights a week ago. Beautiful location on top of the hill in Piana, a large terrace where one can enjoy a drink or two while watching the sun melt into the sea... Rooms are basic but clean. Staff was friendly and professional, always pleasant. Owner was also very nice and friendly at first and throughout stay. However,... More

2 couples in our 60s stayed 4 nights here on recommendation of friends. Despite email in January, there was no reply so we could not get sea-facing rooms. First impression of the rooms was fairly poor. Very hot on arrival, old furnishings, orange bedding, no refrig in the room, insufficient power points. But the rooms are huge, high ceilings, lots...
