The hotel suggestin restaurant and rooms with amazing view to cape rosso in Corsica. The rooms are clean perfectly and the restaurant suggesting a high class food but no so good. The rooms are not the same and very small. The service in the resption and in the restaurant was over excepted and seems that the hotel employees are very... More

The location of this hotel is stunning. You are perched on a cliff overlooking some of the most magnificent scenery in the world. You are a 5 minute drive from the Calanques de Piana, a UNESCO World Heritage site that looks like Sedona, Arizona plopped down by the sea. Unbelievable! The hotel itself is perfectly comfortable (the room decor is... More

The hotel has a big terrace where breakfast and dinner are served, with amazing views on the Calanches (red rock formations) and the bay of Porto. Excellent location as well to get around: walking distance from the Piana village with a couple of (simple) restaurants and a supermarket; and easy to get to Porto (about 8 km away) which is... The restaurant has a stunning view, but the staff are rather disorganised. We decided to have a cheese course after our mains but the kitchen wasn't told, so our souffles came out as the cheese was served. Took a long time to get a drink at the start (we were acknowledged several times of 'with you in a minute'. Not... More

This hotel offers a fantastic view over the Porto Bay from the restaurant terrace or from the room balcony. We stayed there for 3 nights and will certainly return. The pool is great too and very modern. We were there on a half-board basis. The food was nice but the menu lacked choices. What was strange is that you could... More

We had originally been booked into the Hotel Magnolia in Calvi for 3 nights and cancelled after the first. Neither Calvi nor the hotel met our expectations and we were lucky enough to find a deluxe room available at the Capo Rosso. I've seen some comments about the rooms being out of date or needing makeovers but ours was really... More

Fantastic location in region of Les Calanches. Everything seems to have a view - the bedrooms, pool and restaurant terrace. Lovely food so no need to go into Porto or Piana and the pool is a good size. Les Calanches is an area of granite pinnacles which you can walk through or view from the sea by taking a boat... More

First of all, Corsica is a dream destination. Then, the west coast is its best bit. Especially if you are a mountain lover. I wish we had enough time to hike the famous GR20 but that was not the case. So instead we headed up to Piana which seemed ideal for a few spectacular daily hikes. You can pick Porto... More

Fabulous location overlooking the calanches but the hotel is rather old fashioned. The public areas and the rooms need updating - especially the bathroom. The swimming pool and terrace are more up to date, with modern outdoor furniture. The terrace for pre-dinner drinks was not big enough to seat everyone and service in the restaurant was very disorganised. Unlikely to... More

I stayed at Capo rosso on 15th July 2013 for 2 nights and I would not recommend this hotel for the following reasons. 1.WI-FI :no Wifi access from 11PM to 7AM. 2. RESTARANT : A.No choice in the menu ( 1 starter and 1 main course and 6 desserts) B.Restaurant staff are far from being professional ( for example, the... More
