Fantastic location in region of Les Calanches. Everything seems to have a view - the bedrooms, pool and restaurant terrace. Lovely food so no need to go into Porto or Piana and the pool is a good size. Les Calanches is an area of granite pinnacles which you can walk through or view from the sea by taking a boat... More

First of all, Corsica is a dream destination. Then, the west coast is its best bit. Especially if you are a mountain lover. I wish we had enough time to hike the famous GR20 but that was not the case. So instead we headed up to Piana which seemed ideal for a few spectacular daily hikes. You can pick Porto... More

Fabulous location overlooking the calanches but the hotel is rather old fashioned. The public areas and the rooms need updating - especially the bathroom. The swimming pool and terrace are more up to date, with modern outdoor furniture. The terrace for pre-dinner drinks was not big enough to seat everyone and service in the restaurant was very disorganised. Unlikely to... More

I stayed at Capo rosso on 15th July 2013 for 2 nights and I would not recommend this hotel for the following reasons. 1.WI-FI :no Wifi access from 11PM to 7AM. 2. RESTARANT : A.No choice in the menu ( 1 starter and 1 main course and 6 desserts) B.Restaurant staff are far from being professional ( for example, the... More

Old fashioned hotel, food in half board rather bad. Hotel infrastructure has not been changed since 1980 Management is still living in the 1980's and living on the good location of the hotel. They onviously don't take account on the many negative repeated critics of the clients on tripadvisor. Exceptional view on "les Calanques". Staffmembers not interested in the clients... More

When this hotel was first built I would imagine it was a sensation considering its superb location set on high ground overlooking Les Calanche and Capo Rosso. The view from the bedrooms and the restaurant is simply breathtaking. First impressions are that you have arrived in paradise. Sadly the hotel is now in serious need of a major refit. The... More

Called in here off-chance, on our fly-drive holiday. We were given a lovely room with half-board at a good reduction. (But still expensive!) We had a balcony with stunning view of Porto Bay and the mountains beyond, a good bed and fittings -- fridge, safe etc. Set meal in restaurant was excellent both nights of our stay. Very good staff.... More

We loved the views from our room and the restaurant balcony. The room was pleasant but not that big. The small town Piana is a short walk away and we enjoyed going there after dinner. All beaches require a drive - on some very windy roads. The rock formations a short drive away were spectacular. One of the highlights of... More

Splendid location! Beautiful panorama! Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms ( even rooms called 'supérieure') : basic. Restaurant 'demi-pension': less than average. Conclusion: three stars at the price of a four star. Better look for a different place at this beautiest of all islands.
