Stayed here for 3 nights on business trip. Only hotel available under my company travel system though our actual work was in Semur En Auxois. Friendly couple running the hotel. Speaks English. No breakfast have to pay additional. Some rooms access are through dim walkways so be prepared. Comfortable rooms though and free wifi available in rooms under WifiPass which... More

We arrived around 6 or 7pm in Montbard--much later than usual when we need a room. Anyway, I saw the Logis sign on the hotel. Having previously had experience with Logis, we checked in. There were VERY FEW hotels in or near town. We thought the price was a bit high, but we were tired after a long day. Breakfast... More

Nice little hotel, private, locked garage & we had a bedroom on front. Bathroom very nice, immaculately clean with good shower & nice towels. Bed & pillows very comfortable & nice linen. We had a simply delicious dinner in the hotel on their "terrace". Three courses for E29 & the food was lovely. The couple who run the place are... More

Very nice hotel, great restaurant and a very professional and attentive staff. The hotel is situated in a charming French provincial town. It is a quiet place and a fine starting point for our bike trip along the Canal de Bourgogne.

We visited this hotel for one night in July 2014, the reception was friendly and we got an air conditioned room at the street side. The room was large with a couch, desk, television and free wifi and squeaking floor.... The bathroom had a toilet and large shower. The hotel is situated in a very silent street so no rumor.... Its a three star hotel, but of a reasonable standard, breakfast room in traditional layout as is Reception. Rooms are clean and comfortable, we were on the top floor but the steps no problem. There was a strong smell of bleach which soon went when the windows were left open. There is parking in the street, between 6 pm and... More

From the outside this ancient building does not exactly sell itself, but it's worth venturing inside. The welcome is warm and helpful. Our rooms were way up on the top floor via several flights of stairs, but worth the climb. They had been newly refurbished as had their ensuite shower rooms and were simple but very clean and comfortable. Downstairs,... More

The evening meal in the restaurant was superb, staff - probably the owners friendly with english not a problem. The room though was a bit basic, clean, no complaints and quite ok for a 1 night stay. For me it is fairly typical of many family run hotels in France. An easy walk from the train station, taxis' might object... More

A glimpse of provincial France. A 17th century building with narrow and occasionally uneven and creaking corridors. Some of the rooms have been renovated so are large & comfortable but no frills. The corridor to our room was not well lit but one could imagine the generations who have used it but overall a slightly run down feel. Booking via... More

This was a first night on our cyling holiday along the Canal du Bourgogne. It was difficult to stop outside the hotel in our car as it is on a narrow street. There was secure parking in a lock up garage nearby but it was very full. While we cycled we were able to leave our car in a nearby... More
