The Hotel is very well located for easy access to the main areas of Saint Emilion. Rooms are well appointed with toiletries supplied. Breakfast was of very poor quality, hardly worth bothering with. Otherwise the food for both lunch and dinner was of a very good standard. Value for money, price is based on location, has its own private garage... More

We were very well greeted by CHARMAIN who is a very pleasant person . The " chef de cuisine " is , also very efficient person . Unfortunately , some of details show imperfections . . Butthe atmosphere , the small garden and the swimming pool exist for us to forget these small details

We occupy more and 37, what struck us is the poverty of the products offered in the bathroom, no slippers to evolve in the junior suite or in the small courtyard or bathrobe. (I had to cover myself with a bed cover to keep warm). Possibility of smoke in the courtyard. The elevator is stuck all night (we do not... More

These people have not gotten the word that being polite to tourists is part of the job. If you want our money you can smile and give service. Don't leave people standing in the rain when you close your doors.

The staff have been super friendly, there was a mix up with our eating arrangments pre booked with another company and it was sorted in 2 seconds. The duck meal was devine! Rooms are my kind of size and my kind of taste. Clean and functional. Good nights sleep. Furniture keeps n style with the Unesco heritage theme. I give... More

we were here with a VBT group. The room was small, dirty and we had to buy lavender to deal with the musty moldy smell. The staff was unpleasant. Our room opened onto the cobblestone street so even with it being 87 degrees in the room you had to choose between sweating or hearing loud traffic all night. Ended around... More

Good location close to village center. Rooms are small although we had a balcony, overall its a bit tired. In saying that the grounds and gardens with pool are good. We got a friendly welcome and waitress at breakfast was polite and helpful, unlike her male collegue who rude to the point of being agressive. Sometimes staff in these hotels... More

I was there this past September. The rooms are so small that two people cannot move freely in the room. The bathroom door did not close. The wall mirror fell off. There is no space for luggage. The halls are always dark except for a few minutes of dim lighting when you walk and activate the sensor. The bed is... More

I was traveling with a group and thankfully "upgraded" rooms in our hotels. My friends accommodations were dismal. The food was average. The location was convenient. The travel agent that organized the trip has questionable taste at best. There were other equally convenient hotels with much better accommodations.

While this hotel boasts its tenure as a premier hotel in the region, it felt dark, thread bare and in need of new mattresses and fresher linens. The staff was somewhat friendly, but lacked attention to detail as we were encouraged to buy a glass of wine from the owner's own winery but the wine was undrinkable and we left... More
