We stayed just one night in a Templier Suite and wished we could have moved in permanently. Location, location, location and what a view over St. Emilion town from one window and then St. Emilion countryside from the other window. The room was large, the bathroom large and well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The styling is slick and... More

I wrote this property 4 times over a 6 week period and never had one response. As a travel agent, I was simply inquiring about the commission rate or an industry rate. I have since moved on. I may go kick the tires or the front door when I am in St. Emilion in September. The good hotels in this... More

We got off to a bad start with this place – the owner wasn’t there when we arrived and we had to wait around an hour for him to come; he said he hadn’t seen the booking online as his internet was down. Same goes for the wi-fi in his hotel too – only worked the day we were leaving!... More

Had a lovely two nights here, had the top floor, absoloutly stunning, owner very helpful and accomondating, star rating should be higher, I have stayed in plenty ofof 5* hotels and this was just as good. If in the area would stay here again, room spotless, really well kept and done up to a high standard.

This hotel is very convenient, right in centre of the town, has parking nearby. We had a room on the upper floor, there is no lift. The room was a good size, had room for a settee to to sit on, one small window, which looked over the road at some vineyards. Unfortunately that is as good as it got... More

We loved Saint-Emilion! Yes, it's touristy, but there's a good reason why tourists flock there. It's so quaint and charming and just so pretty. We stayed at the Maison de la Commanderie in the Ecuyers room. If you had dreams of staying in the middle of vineyards like I did, do not stay here. From the pictures it looked like... More

What a find, perfect............ stunning views, excellent position in the village and decor to die for. Only one downside, you can hear people in the rooms next door but that would not put me off coming again. Amazing!!!!

St Emillion is such a beautiful little town and Maison de la Commanderie perfect in the centre. parking is available beside the hotel. We had a lovely room on the first floor looking out over the rooftops in the town. The owner was very welcoming to us. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast of homemade yoghurts, jams and lovely pear tart!... More

This was a wonderful old building, nicely renovated. The innkeeper set us up with a wonderful private tour of a winery and recommended a restaurant for dinner that was the BEST of our three week trip.

This bed-and-breakfast is just reasonable..... The decor is quite modern and eclectic and may not be to everybody's taste but the rooms are extremely spacious and well appointed. My room called des Templiers was fairly dark with a very small window overlooking the street. It was not noisy although I kept the window closed. The air conditioning worked very well.... More
