We had some trouble even with gps. At the apartment we found a letter: Please do not drink or eat anything What was bought away from this apartament. or somethig in this... More

Dear Sir, I have read your opinion and take the opportunity to make a few comments. Château Troplong Mondot and les Belles Perdrix de Troplong Mondot are located 2km from the center of Saint-Emilion, in the middle of a vineyard of 33 hectares in front of the medieval city. This is the particularity that contributes to the charm of the... More

Beautiful grounds. We stayed in the Mahogony room. Quite nice. There are only three rooms on the property. Great views. An easy walk to town. Dinner was wonderful. Reservations a must. Breakfast was the same every morning which was fine because it was soooo good. The staff, the utmost professional and pleasant. I can't think of one complaint.

This is the accommodation arm of Chateau Troplong Mondot. Arrived for two night stay, very welcoming reception and lovely (Mahogany) room. Comfortable bed, fab bathroom and shower but rather dark due to being converted ?stables. What superlatives can I use for the restaurant?? I think it would be fair to say that it was the best French food we have... More

My fiancee and I (from Manhattan) stayed at Les Belles Perdrix during our visit to St. Emilion. We stayed in the "Vineyard House." Our friends stayed in the "Mahogany Room." Overall, a superb experience. The Vineyard House is a little French farmhouse in the middle of the vineyard (Chateau Troplong Mondot - an excellent house). Does it get any better?... More

This place is worth the splurge. We stayed in the Mahogany Room which is the smallest of the three “living” places they have. There is a workshop in the middle of the vineyards that looks very cool (I would want to stay there). This is a working vineyard that recently added these places to stay and a great restaurant (we... We stayed at la belle perdrix at the beginning of August for five days and it is by far my favorite place I have stayed in. We stayed in the workshop room which is like a small apartment with 2bedrooms, living room, kitchen(which you can't cook in for safety reasons) and dining room. The place is beautifully decorated but most... More

Due to an unexpected problem with our accommodation on day one of our two day trip to St Emilion we found ourselves staying one night in the Workshop at Les Belles Perdrix, WOW is all I can really say! We just love vineyards and being amongst them and at this property thats exactly how it is. The 2 bedroom 'apartment'... More

We had an absolutely fresh and light meal there. The waitresses are very friendly and discreet. Three comments: - understandably the wines are only from the property - hence too limited; - the waitress opened and decanted the wine before coming to the table - absolutely not done; - the menu choice is a bit limited: only two choices -... We have stayed in a number of bed and breakfasts, mostly in England, Hawaii, and the mainland US. The bed and breakfast at Chateau Troplong Mondot, Les Belles Perdrix (the pretty partridges) was the best. Probably what made it for us for the very friendly and accommodating staff (say hello to Rejane if you go) and the breakfast on the... More

All the perdrix thank you for your kind words about our guest house. We strive to be the best and are happy to hear we've succeeded! And, ok I will admit it may take 20 minutes to go the center of the village, but the landscape is worth the walk, isn'it?? Take care and I hope to welcome you again... More
