We just returned from a weekend holiday to Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion. Could not have been any better and our two night stay at this fantastic chateau was a big part of it! Catherine is absolutely delightful. This property only has two rooms - we had the room with the large king bed (could be two twins if need be). Very... More

Had the pleasure of renting both rooms out from Catherine at Franc-Pourret, and very glad we did. We stayed during the offseason, it was Thanksgiving in St Emilion, and we had a great time. Rooms, large with all one would need. Charming estate, great view points, walkable to town (must admit we did get lost once.) My 6 yr old... More

It would be difficult to say something about Chateau Franc-Pourret that hasn't already been said by hundreds of tripadvisor reviewers. Pretty much everything from the rooms to the estate to the wine to the oh so unbelievable breakfast treats has been reported over and over and over. As I pondered how to add some new perspective to staying at Chateau... More

Everything was absolutely perfect. A beautiful house among vines. A spacious cosy warm room with a real heating system. What is more, there is an electrical teakettle, coffee-machine and a wide variety of a tea, coffee and chocolates. In the morning we were served a delicious breakfast in the living room where there is a real fire in a fire... More

I booked this as a birthday surprise for my partner and it was wonderful for a special occasion. I spent weeks reading all the great reviews and when I arrived I was not disappointed!. The place looks fabulous and is very well looked after inside and out. We arrived a bit early but this was no problem Catherine took us... More

Catherine the proprietor of this vineyard and winery is an amazing lady!. The bedrooms (2) are very nicely done and quite large. She serves a sumptuous breakfast in the mornings and offers an educational tour of her facility. She was most helpful in giving directions on walking to St. Emilion and what restaurants to visit. Al in all it proved... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night in Oct. It was definitely the best room we have ever got in France. The owner, Catherine, is so nice and helpful. We came much earlier than we expected while the owner was still cleaning up the room. She still let us get in and load down our luggage to our... More

A charming, gracious place to stay surrounded by vineyards just 5 minutes drive outside St. emillion. We had a huge gorgeous suite up a flight of stairs. Wifi, water pressure, towel warmer, tea station, small fridge, chocolate bon bons, comfortable bed... The owner is exceptionally thoughtful and mindful of her guests' comfort. The places she recommended for macarons and for... More

As soon as we arrived at Chateau Franc Pourret we felt welcomed and at home. Our room was spacious and elegantly decorated. The lovely touch of fresh flowers daily on our bedside table made us feel very special and having a Nespresso machine in our room was an added bonus. It is true what has been said about Catherine's delicious... More

What a wonderful place to stay! The rooms were spacious, utterly charming, and stocked with everything you could need. The small details (chocolates by the bed, extra toiletries, a coffee maker in the room, and modern bathroom fixtures) went far beyond what we had anticipated for a country chateau. Catherine was very friendly and helpful, and her homemade breakfasts were... More
