Chateau Franc Pourret is a lovely chateau. It is authentically furnished with antiques and is spotlessly clean. Catherine is a really nice lady and is an excellent hostess (and a good cook). She is also very knowledgeable about wine, and her wine tour was interesting and informative. The two bedrooms are large, well equipped and comfortable. The little fridge was... More

A charming B&B - enormous, comfortable rooms with every possible accessory you could imagine (including a torch to help you get back from town at night!). A delightful host Catherine who provides an excellent breakfast at whatever time you would like it. She also provides a tour of the wine-making facility adjacent to the lodgings and will do everything to... More

Catherine is just lovely and the Chateau is both grand, charming and welcoming. The interior is sensational and the bed is most comfortable - it was lovely to purchase a bottle of Franc Pourret wine and relax in the room. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast that Catherine prepared for us. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Beautiful building, lovely location with excellent facilities and a very friendly and welcoming host. Lovely period furniture, comfortable bed. Breakfast as good if not better than you'll find anywhere. Only slight blip was they had issues with wi-fi, but am sure now resolved. Also beware mosquitos, use the deterrents provided. Highly recommended.

Lovely b&b. Huge rooms which are fabulously decorated with modern bathrooms. The owner, Catherine, really goes out of her way for guests and rustles up an amazing breakfast. Easy stroll or short drive to the village. Highly reccommended.

We were quite excited about our stay here as it is an actual working vineyard - been in the family for over sixty years. The winery is also classified fully organic! Furthermore St Emilion is a World Heritage listed site. The owner, Catherine was very helpful during our booking by answering our emails promptly and in an informative manner. When... More

Spacious, well appointed guest rooms and modern, up-to-date bathrooms. Slept like a log! Catherine ensures that your stay is comfortable and you will definitely enjoy her scrumptious breakfasts. Fresh croissants and baked items were our favorites but, lots to choose from. Chateau Franc-Pourret is located on the fringes of St. Emilion which provides the opportunity for a beautiful walk through... More

We spent a lovely 3 days at Chateau Franc Pourret for my partners 30th birthday. lovely little vineyard chateau, large, clean rooms. Catherine the perfect host with lovely breakfasts and does a great wine tour. Easy walking to the town although I would not like to do it at night. But less than a mile from St Emillion so super... My wife and I could not have wished for a better start to our 3 week trip around Europe. Beautiful house, immaculate room, stunning home baked breakfast and lovely wine. Catherine is an amazing host and St Emilion is a delightful 10 minute walk through the many vineyards, I dont know why you would chose to stay anywhere else. We... More
