Good sized room with view over the vines, as far as the eye could see. We also had our own entrance so we were able to come and go as we wished without disturbing anyone else. Breakfast was generous with delicious croissant, the coffee wasn't to my liking but you can't please everyone! The only problem we had was a... More

We stayed one night at this B&B perfect location, our 14 yr old boys had their own room and bicycles were available for them to explore the vineyards and chateaus close by. Comfortable beds and wonderful breakfast with local breads, pastries, home made jams, cereal and fruits and good coffee. Hostess were welcoming and friendly. Great advise on what to... More

Ideal place to stay if you are in the St Emillion area. It is only a 5 minute drive to St Emillion itself although parking is difficult during the middle of the day - but not a problem in the evening in our experience. Thor and Veronique are superb hosts and will give you as much advice as you could... More

We stayed 1 night on a roadtrip through France. I wanted to avoid the hotels in St. Emilion and reserved this place based on the good reviews here on Tripadvisor. First of all I must say that the 2 hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Right when you reserve your room you get a long e-mail full of good advice... More

We really enjoyed our stay at La Petite Madeleine. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful in advising us where to go. The room was a good size with views over a vineyard and was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the home made jams and marmalades were superb.

My husband and I spent only one night at this peaceful, spacious B&B and were quite renewed by the experience after many hectic days in busy Paris. Our room was the large upstairs suite which had a couple of extra rooms we weren't expecting. The tree frogs lulled us to sleep at night and reminded me of summer nights in... More

Travelling with my adult son we really enjoyed our stay at La Petite Madeleine, hosts were more than welcoming and we had a relaxing two day stay. Nice to get out of the big cities and enjoy the countryside at St Emilion.

This is a lovely little B&B in Saint-Emilion, about 5 minutes by car from the village. We chose it as our stopping off point from the Dordogne before going to the airport at Bordeaux the next day. The fact that it was full bears testament to how good a stop it was, albeit too short. We had the Feuille room... More

Stayed 3 nights In July 2014. We had a great time with Veronique and Thor. Nice place in a picturesque location outside saint Emilion. Veronique was more than helpful to recommend activities, restaurants and wine tasting tours. We had a meal prepared by Thor on our first night and it was amazing paired with wine from the region. We were... More

The is a very nice part of St Emillion. This B&B was in a excellent location for bike tours and is across the road from a nice restaurant that sits in the middle of a vineyard. The owners of the B&B were very nice and helped us with finding certain locations. I suggest sitting out the front with a bottle... More
