One of the best hostels I ever stayed. Almost clean, could be better. very helpful and nice staff. Quite good breakfast and now in wintertime very quiet. For Uruguay cheap (15$ USD) but in high season 50 bucks. For me too dark as I cannot read and use my computer at night time.

This place is fantastic. Staff are ace, guests are too. We spent a week here and didn't want to leave. It's kind of a paradise existence really. People come and go but you can guarantee you will always strike up a conversation with someone and share stories of your travels. It's also brilliantly located a short walk away from the... More

Before I arrived I planned to stay a couple days but I stayed a full week. The Location is perfect with everything you need (beach and supermarket) around the corner. I stayed in the low-season and therefore the only activity in the city was in this hostel and I literally had a private beach. The crew was super helpful and... More

Great hostel designed in the shape of a big cabaña. We were staying in a double room with private bathroom. The room is on the first floor in the corner of the building and has a balcony ocean view and a wrap-in hammock. On Saturday night we had a great asado for a very decent price and the staff was... We booked this place because of the great reviews and the website made it look awesome. We showed up and were taken to a double room that was not anything like the pictures that were depicted on there web site. The room was just big enough to fit a double bed with concrete floors and straw ceilings. The bathroom was... More

Dear [Name], We are sorry we have not met the expectations you had and with that not fulfilled what we pursue for every single guest. The room you chose though is the smallest room available, it's only open when the hostel is full as an alternative for people who want to stay close to the beach. For that reason we... More

Nice design, good atmosphere, just a little bit too much gringos... And one free caipirinha for every guest! But: During my stay we had at least one day without hot water! The only one computer is completely crap and crashes after 10 minutes maximum! Stuff is very friendly, but they didn't explain us where to go to get the international... More

Dear [Name], Thanks for sharing your opinion and helping us to improve. We were very concerned about the points you mention and we have given attention to all of it. The computer, we've tried and asked the whole staff if they have ever heard about a problem with the computer but both didn't seem to be the case. We haven't... More

The hostel's staff is great and always in a good mood, the hostel itself was pretty good after such a bad season and the price is average (Uruguay is quite expensive anyway!). You can't be closer to the Atlantic and you have a view from the terrace where sometimes you believe you're in Paradise.

Location is really far from the bus station (but most places are anyway). Try to arrive in the day time as taxis aren't common and so if you don't arrive at a decent time you may have to walk a couple of kilometers in the dark with all your belongings. Location is close to the beach and not too far... More

Dear [Name], Great to hear you had a good stay. You're right about the bus, during high season (Christmas until Carnival) the bus stops far out of town. Apparently you'd missed our pick up but we do our best to be at the terminal from 10am until 9pm. During low season the bus enters into town a few blocks from... More
