El Gato is an amazing place to spend few days in the rainforest. The hospitality is simple but you don't need more than that! The food is good and well presented. Beds are comfortable and includes a moskito net, a candle, no electricity but seriously do you really need it while in the rainforest? Our guide didn't speak well english... More

El Gato is a great place to spend some quiet time in the Amazon- basic accommodations, but nice. Pros Clay lick, hide, and fun trails. Food is plentiful and presented beautifully. El Gato is very basic, but... Do you want a few days with peace and quiet without a lot of tourists, this is the right place. The food is pretty good but nothing extravagant.
