Enjoyable experience with very helpful staff. Pisco, Peru was our first stop on our 7 week trip. Percy helped us get acclimated and set us up with tours to Islas Ballestas, Paracas National Reserve, a tour at the bodega El Catador & sand boarding/dune buggying in Huacachina. The price seemed reasonable - S70 for a room with one double bed... More

The staff here were so helpful and friendly here, way above and beyond the call of duty. Clean, comfy rooms, working wifi and HOT water in the shower! The people of Pisco have suffered much but have a marvelous attitude to life, I spent 3 months in Peru but had to return here for my last night on the return... More

We paid S60 for a double room with an ensuite. The hotel is really nice with an excellent pool, a pool table and ping-pong table and really friendly staff. We also booked our trip to Las Islas Balletas through the hotel at a good price. Breakfast's not included, but they do a good American for S10. The shower was good,... More

One of the nicer places we stayed in a month’s travel around Peru. Post-2007 earthquake construction, everything seems clean and new. There is lots of common space outside the rooms: the pool area, a guest kitchen, a games area (ping-pong, pool, etc.), a restaurant, and a private dining room. The posted price for a double is S/70, but they brought... More

This is a lovely hostel, much nicer than many hotels in the UK! There's a great pool in the centre, which is much needed considering the scorching heat in Pisco. Rooms are small, but have everything that's needed and are clean. Could do with a light over the sink as it was rather dark. Breakfast isn't included but was decent... More

According to our guidebook, Pisco was the place to make the trip to see Islas Ballestas. That must have been old information because the town smeeled horrible from the fish processing plants and it is not safe to go by the beach there. The shining light is the Hostel San Isidro. Our room was nice, clean, the bed had a... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Pisco because of this nice hotel. The rooms are daily cleaned, new soap and shampoo plus towels are included and the pool is nice too. We booked our day trip to the Islas Ballestas and Paracas national reserve with the owner. The deal was cheaper then outside the hotel. All in all such a... More

clean, friendly staff, big and comfortable room, hot water, swimming pool (not used as in June it had been already emptied). Location a little unsafe during night time, use a taxi. paied 70sol per night for a double room ensuite, it was worth it.

big pool. soccer table. table tennis. clean rooms..and big rooms ! friendly staff. little overpriced for pisco as pisco is a wreck still after the earthquake and the promises the government made to restore have not been kept. however, BOOK YOUR OWN TAXIS AND EVENTS as the hostel put an extra 5-15 soles on top. we found the day out... Hostal provided free internet and had pool. Rates were very affordable. Front desk was always staffed for any questions and were very helpful. To get to plaza de armas, I would recommend taking a motorcab for the short and cheap cab ride.
