The shower head only put out a tiny drizzle of lukewarm water, and 8 could barely wash my hair by hand, let alone take a shower. They advertised breakfast, but in the morning told us that we needed to go pay for breakfast at a restaurant because we didn't get any there. Then, on top of it all, the wifi... More

Stayed here as part of our tour with Toucan. There isnt really much to see or do in Pisco but the location was good enough. Clean and fairly small hotel with a rooftop terrace. Ask for a room towards the back of the hotel. We had a room facing the street and we were kept up for most of the... More

As part of the Tucan Tour, we stayed here for the night. I was on the tour with my girlfriend, so we had our own room. As some other people have said 'rustic' - I think is an appropriate word. Hard to say anything else as we were there only a short time. The important things for me are cleanliness... More

I stayed here as part of a tour group and found it basic but good enough for one night. It makes a useful base for exploring the Ballestas Islands and reception has a good supply of tourist info. Breakfast is served in the restaurant next door. The view from the rooftop terrace gives you some idea of how much of... More

The Posada Hispana claimed to have a three star rating. It is a rustic family run hotel that caters to tour groups. Reception was friendly. The dining room food was OK but dinner service was slow despite our ordering ahead. We could not access wi-fi. Our double bed was not very comfortable. We had to ask for a second towel... More

I stayed one night in the hotel in August 2013. I booked it because it had fairly good reviews in Moon Guide for Peru, but they turned out to be no longer accurate. The person at the reception was unfriendly, could not recommend a place to eat. Our room was on the ground floor, sharing the wall with the kitchen... More

We had fun in Pisco, but there were some drawbacks with this place. We had a triple room with a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable enough, and the place was clean. The first problem was with the late/early hour service. - In the morning there was no hot water in the shower, so I left our room to go... More

Stopped here as part of Tucan tour. Room quite nice although dark. Shower warm, bed comfortable and room clean. Ate in restaurant - food quite nice although service was inattentive and slow. Breakfast tables laid nicely but no menu or indication of what is available. We were given rolls, butter and jam and asked for scrambled eggs. No fruit, yoghurt,... More

We arrived late afternoon, checked in and wanted dinner but restaurant wasn't open. Rooms were okay, showers average but at least water was semi warm. Door let a lot of street noise. Wandered down for breakfast next morning but lights werent on and no one wanted to help me. Other people in out group had breakfast before us so I... More

In a city like Pisco, where there is not much that is shiny and new, this hotel was very good. Friendly reception staff, decent rooms, reasonably fast wifi and a great restaurant (try the paella!). Most people stay here before or after making the trip to the Ballestos islands, as we did, and for one night the hotel is more... More
