Nice and clean rooms, very suitable for business people, good internet connection. Breakfast and dinner was very good in the nice hotel restaurant. The staff at the reception counter could be somewhat friendlier and was busy chatting with each other, but not annoyingly so. Over all, a good experience.

I stayed in Talca for a night on business at Diego de Almagro and it was well worth. I found English speakers at the reception which was helpful. The room was spacious, clean and nice. Breakfast didn't have a lot of options but seemed fair. Overall I was happy with the service.

Having been thwarted in our plans to drive north from Santiago and over the Andes to Mendoza, Argentina by landslides that had closed the highway, we had to find another way. The local Caribinieri recommended going south 200 some miles to Talca, and crossing the Andes there, so off we went. Talca appeared as a small blip on our map,... More

Not a bad hotel. It was pretty decent but I would not say better than average. The staff was excellent and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel was not very good. The location is not very good either. The room was fine except it seems like there was some construction or renovation going on in the room above us the... More

It was getting late and we trusted the Garmin GPS to direct us to a hotel for the night. We were in Chile for the first time and not conversant with the language. After a couple of miscalls, we found this wonderful hotel for my wife and I. Very pleasant, attractive and professional people at the front office. Room was... More

Pleasant rooms: clean, quiet, safe, but felt that it was too expensive. Convenient location. There are competing hotels in centro Talca that offer the same quality room for a lower price. I cannot comment on the breakfast because I did not eat eat there. There is a nice park across the street.

Needed a place to stay overnight en route from Valdivia in the south to Santiago; Talca seemed about right and, thanks to T.E., we opted for the D de A - a pretty reliable, US-style chain. Did not disappoint: not cheap (US prices) but clean, comfortable, and efficient; TV, wi-fi, modest exercise room. (Free) underground parking a plus. In the... More

Well equiped hotel for the price. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and the beds are large and comfortable. Our room was a little cold as it had lots of windows and one didn't fully shut. The food at the restaraunt was good quality and value. The breakfast which was included in the price was generous. The hotel staff were... More

Nice hotel, clean, with good service, well located, but not a 4-star hotel -- don't know how stars are assigned in Chile. The hotel is modern, the rooms are large and comfortable. The Wi-Fi doesn't work very well but the Internet connection is good, so get an ethernet cable from the front desk and, still better, set up your own... More

The good: Modern; nice location; spacious, clean, comfortable rooms; WIFI works as expected. Both the reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and accommodating. The meh: The breakfast could be jazzed-up a bit, but is otherwise "okay." The decor is nothing to cheer about, but it's also not an eyesore. The bad: nada
