We were happy that we stayed for two nights at the lovely vineyard of Casa Donoso. Located near Talca it is a nice place to discover the landscape. It has been a long time I was on this winery, before the earthquake of 2010. Today this winery only opens for schedules events or booking for groups, but still is a wonderful place to visit, with a very beautiful "casona" in the outskirt of Talca city. the wines continue as good as ever and the service is very professional... Lonely Planet lists this gem in its Chile guide under "hotel", what is quite misleading. The owners of Casa Donoso seem to have lived here for a while and entertained guest so they needed a few rooms for them to stay overnight. Today a lady from Tahiti overseas the guest area.
