I have to clarify that I only spent one night in the small room that was offered at a lower rate to the other normal rooms/suites. The suites are nicer than the room I stayed in. My aim was to keep costs down which is why I was offered this room. This review is about the small room option. The overnight desk clerk seemed a bit shocked that I took the cheaper room. I should have taken a cue and gone with a normal room.

The Spring Continental Hotel is one of the rare lower budget options in Kuwait City. The locatioin is convenient, in Salmiya, near the corniche end opposite of the Kuwait Towers. There are also plenty of restaurants (nicer ones along the corniche) and shopping opportunities both within walking distance and short cab rides away. The hotel is the same building as a Starbuck's for your coffee fill and steps away from some fast food options.

It's a safe location, no frills. Staff was nice, although it helps if you speak Arabic.
