Hostels are not on our list usually. We tried it once and said 'never again', but this one made us changing our minds regards hostels. We booked this hotel because of its location by the steps of Masada, very close to the Dead sea and exactly on our road from Jerusalem to Eilat. Location allows you to go up to... More

We stayed here for three nights as our base to explore the region around the Dead sea, as it was one of the cheapest options, which still means about 100 euros per night. But hey, it's Israel, everything's expensive around here. The rooms are large and designed fro up to six people, so if you're a family of four, the... More

I've stayed at the Masada Guest House numerous times and I would say it is by far one of the best deals in Israel. The facilities are super clean and modern, great Wifi, great beds, hot water and high pressure in the showers, and the most convenient location for climbing Masada to catch the sunrise. The Snake Path trail at... More

A good cheap place to stay for a trip in the dead sea. The facility of the hotel is very poor but its locaition is good for a trip in masada and david river. The rooms have air condition. Its quiet at the weekend

Great location, perfect for hiking up to Massada for the morning sunrise. Very clean and good showers. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. It was extremely noisy as there were many groups of schoolchildren. Dinner is expensive, but luckily we knew this in advance and brought our own food.

This is the only hostel at the bsse of Masada national park. Sunrise during our stay was 550am, the national park gate opens an hour earlier so we can hike the snake path to catch sunrise at top of Massada. We spent several hours roaming the ancient fortress, hiked down by foot and still had time for sumptuous hostel breakfast... More

This place is just amazing to compare the desert to civilization! The rooms were really good and comfortable. For me it's important that a hotel should have good WI-Fi connection and I had no problems in this hotel with that. The dining room was amazing, it had big windows and you could see the desert and look at it while... More

Pros: Welcoming reception. Easy access from the highway and plenty of parking right near reception. Great location near Massada so you can get an early start. Suprisingly nice view of the desert out the window. Very firm bed with individual duvets. Big refrigerator in the room and coffee facilities. Huge, beautiful salads in breakfast buffet. Cons: Breakfast should start earlier.... More

It's the best place to stay, if you're travelling without a car and want to see the sunrise at Massada. Rooms are clean and nice, some of them have balcony. The price is very high, though, as for a hostel. You can order dinner at the hostel restaurant, but if you're vegetarian, there's nothing for you except salads (or if... More
