My family and I recently visited this hotel. We were two adults and three children sharing adjoining rooms. There were several issues with the hotel which i would like to bring to the attention of prospective guests. The hotel is grubby. It is in need of an upgrade - I understand that the air is very corrosive but nonetheless -... More

My family and I recently returned from Israel and stayed at the Oasis Dead Sea hotel for two nights. We were greeted immediately upon arrival by a bellhop. The rooms were clean and in order when we arrived. Due to our late arrival, we called ahead and the hotel saved a dinner for us. The outdoor pool was very nice... More

We stayed here for one night. Overall experience is acceptable. It is definitely not 4 star hotel, but the price include free breakfast/dinner/parking/Internet. It does have its value, considering the food choice would be very limited in that area. Some staffs don't speak English or good English. Internet is easy and good. It has a private beach but you will... More

My wife and I made a reservation to this hotel, as part of an Opera Package of La Traviata in Masada ( I will explain it in a different review). We arrived afternoon to the hotel and were upgraded to the Spa hotel part (no kids). The Dead Sea area is known for its wonderful cure for a lot of... More

I took this hotel for this particular weekend because it was much cheaper than all the other hotels. I have read poor reviews about it, but I have friends who have been staying in this hotel in the last 30 years and are always happy here. So was I. The room was very nice and clean with a view to... Avoid this hotel ! I had the worst experience at Oasis Hotel Dead Sea. When I arrived to check in, after months of preparation for my trip to the Dead Sea, I was cheerful, smiling, and I said a nice Hello with a big smile to the woman at the front desk. It was on Thursday June 12, 2014 at... More

There's a reason this is one of the two hotels that had last minute rooms at the dead sea for Shavu'ot holiday. From the strong smell of mold each time you enter the room (room 230), to the small windows with partial view of the sea, to the bathroom with hair resideu from previous room users, to the poor service... Frankly I had mixed feelings staying at the hotel with my wife after reading the various mainly not too complimentary reviews. However as the hotel was booked in advance by a friend we carried on regardless. Check-in/out was efficient. Lobby was bright and done up in contemporary style. Room was clean and comfortable with view of Dead Sea and Jordan... More

Just an average hotel, but so expensive. We reserved 2 rooms. The elevator service is very slow. The dining room and food service over that particular period was below our expectations. We had to wait in line for at least 15 mins. for omelettes! When I requested help from the dining room manager, he replied rudely. No bread was served... More

This is not an easy review to write, as there are things about the Oasis that were wonderful, and others that were terrible. if I had to sum it up briefly, the rooms, spa, beach and food were excellent, but several very unprofessional incidents made this hotel unacceptable and we would not return. First of all, we were there celebrating... More
