This was a perfect Holliday in December - at the Dead Sea ! Hod Hamidbar hotel is not a huge hotel but it's location onthe beach makes it perfect. You don't have to dress up and cross the street or take the shuttle in order to reach the beach . You just go out of the beautiful spa & straight... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night on a Saturday (which conveniently was the slowest day of the week) and had a wonderful time. The hotel is small compared to other major hotels in the area and it has a private beach that is open to guests 24 hours a day within a short walking distance (though the walks... More

Good location along the dead sea shore, private beach, comfortable access, good spa facilities. Front desk very polite and helpful. Parking is not guaranteed in the hotel parking area, outside the hotel the parking is not free.

I have been here in October 2014. The location is a dream, noting to complain about. The beach is not exactly the cleanest, near the beach the hotel is extending, building, heavy machinery and so on so also in the water I was able to find construction materials, plus empty plastic bottles and so on. An advise: Do not use... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night during December 2014 with 3 kids, we took two rooms. The room were very nice and clean. Food was very good - both dinner and breakfast. We used the spa (kids went to the outdoor pool) which was also nice.

This is a nice 4* hotel with great location – right on the beautiful beach. It is smaller than some of the big hotels in the area, thus feels less crowded. Rooms are of reasonable size, the bed is comfortable, food was good (for a hotel) and most staff members were nice and helpful. The hotel free parking is small... More

Great Israeli breakfast, good service and nice room with a view of the dead sea. Good massage treatments and pools, excellent beach. Sometimes too crowed, and Ein Hod is limited unless you want to travel in the area. Excellent place to go rest and heal your self. For anyone who loves the desert and a very unique experience of bathing... More

I brought a large group of family and friends to the Hotel for a wedding at a nearby location. Overall we received very good, attentive and friendly service and very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms, while small, are nice and clean and most of them have some view of the Dead Sea. The private beach (newly renovated) is really... More

It's a four stars hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel has a great private beach and a great heated dead sea pool. A good spa. The food for me was just nice, I had better meals. A nice hotel.
