Although not immediately clear from most reviews, it is quite possible to use their spa and beach as a day guest who has travelled in from elsewhere (such as on one of the buses from Jerusalem). There is a fee payable at main reception then you can use the spa and beach for the whole day and get a lunch... More

If you travel to Dead Sea area, this is the best hotel you can get there. But don´t expect too much. This is expensive 3star standard hotel. The only excellent thing was the food and the staff how trying hard they were. The breakfast, lunch and diner buffet is really amazing. The staff is trying hard and I really admire... More

I was recently diagnosed with arthritis and traveled to the Dead Sea region to seek treatment. We stayed at the Hod Hamidbar hotel as it came highly recommended from a family friend. The experience did not disappoint. FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DIETRY RESTRICTIONS: I suffer from allergies to dairy, peanuts and gluten intolerance. Traveling is usually a nightmare. Upon arrival, I... Don't plan too much off-site activity when you stay here, there's much to do at this hotel. This was one of our more expensive stays, but you basically get your money's worth. We had free WiFi and breakfast. The view from the hotel room was lovely, and the hotel provides easy access to the dead sea, a regular large outdoor... More

I have never met a team of more friendly and helpful people. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and the spa was very clean and calming. The dead sea water pool was a real treat and allowed us to experience the dead sea both inside and outside which meant we could decide when we'd... More

Israel’s Dead Sea is an outstanding area rich with nature, history and archaeology. Masada and the oasis of Ein Gedi are within easy reach of this superb hotel. Luxuriously equipped and decorated bedrooms, a superb buffet breakfast that sets you up for the day, evening entertainment and above all polite, efficient and attentive staff make this the ideal place for... Nice location next to the Dead Sea, building activity right next to the beach. A missunderstading with the booking made a lot of hustle and I had to pay for a dinner they said was included. They refused to take any blame for the mixup. I think thats very shows very bad customer service.
