The Hod is the northernmost seaside spa hotel (closest to Masada) in Ein Bokek. Lobby and rooms are luxurious. We enjoyed the Dead Sea bathing area and open air pool. Indoor pool was closed for renovations, and we aren't much for spas. Big breakfast buffet is included. Dinner is too expensive but there are good eateries in mini malls along... more

The room service is ok, the food is ordinary - not bad, but not excellent. The SPA service is awful. Just one example. We arrived in afternoon (3 PM) tired after a long day and went to the SPA. Asked for a bath robe . The answer was - coming soon. After half an hour - they were received, but... more

My parents-in law, my husband, and I spent 2 nights here. Very lively, nice rooms, right on the beach, great spa, and nice outdoor pool!! The only complaint is that the buffet dinner was quite expensive... then again, the options at other hotels though cheaper, did not taste good at all. Overall, we had a great time in the beach,... more

My mom and myself stayed at this hotel 2 nights/3 days. I selected it because of its location right on the shore and because it isn't a huge hotel. Everything was great. I will only warn against something that happened to us and which the hotel probably couldn't influence : the entire stay the beach was closed because of sewer... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hod Hotel this past spring as we travelled through Israel and Jordan with Avitours and we enjoyed it. Our room was nice and attractive and since the hotel sits on its own beach, it had easy access to the Dead Sea. I wasn't crazy about the food which was pretty plain and uninspired... more

Hotel was sub-par in all respects. One of the elevators was broken and the others kept skipping the 7th floor where our room was! Had to get off at 6 and walk up with our bag. Bathroom was not clean. With a notation that the water was not drinkable in the bathroom one would expect a bottle of water to... more

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was just fine. The hotel is right on the beach - which I really wanted (so I could dash out for a swim before breakfast etc - as it got too hot later in the day). A lot of hotels in Ein Botek are a bit of a walk from the beach,... more

Stayed one night on the dead sea. This hotel is good, but nothing special. Our room was not ready on time, but this was not a big bother, as we just went out to the beach, floated in the sea, and went to the spa (which is GREAT, read below). We stayed on the ninth floor of the hotel, and... more

We stayed at the Hod as the second part of our 3 centre tour of Israel. The hotel itself was lovely and the spa and beach excellent. The entertainment at night was a for an older market so we stayed in our rooms at night although there are other public places to chill out within the hotel. Staff were attentive... more

Stayed here for 1 night in September and it was fine, nothing fancy or good just fine. The breakfast was ok, the room clean enough, the spa did the job but not somewhere I would recommend. Also careful of the El Breik spa near massada my car got broken in there and all my jewlery stollen! more
