Unfortunately the David has seen its best times. The hotel is run down and desperately needs renovation and better management. Restaurants seem to go for quantity instead of quality. Located absolutely beautifully with stunning views on the Dead Sea.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel has space, rooms are big, there are 3 pools - 2 outside (one with salty water) and the other one a swimming pool and one inside in the SPA area. The food is good. We enjoyed our stay in spite of the unpleasant experience during check in. We were given the room keys,... More

The David, formally the Meridian, formally the Hyatt, does try. The rooms are comfortable and large, with a nice balcony, the bathroom included bath and a standing shower . The hotel is clean with wifi in all the rooms. The gym is a bit small, so if you come at certain times you may not get a treadmill right away... More

I liked the room, it was big and clean with a nice view to the Dead sea. There was unpleasent smell in one part of the dining room. When I had a problem, They solved it quick. But in general, stuff is not professional. It does not have a direct access to the sea, but you can walk to the... More

I stayed in this hotel when it was a Le Meridian hotel. Wow have the times changed. About 7 years since I stayed there and it would seem they have not invested a penny into the place. The rooms, carpets, bathrooms all look aged. There was some rust on the tub and the carpets in the hallways looked like they... More

We just spent one night at this hotel and enjoyed the rooms (fabulous), the views, the food, the service. The only problem is there is no direct access to the Dead Sea. They have a bus shuttle every 10 or 15 minutes, but this makes it into a project to get to the sea. The Spa and the outdoor pools... More

On a recent trip to Israel iIn FEB 2105 we stayed overnight at the David Spa Resort. We were accompanied by my daughter, son-in-law and three small children. The rooms were very clean. Chocolates were left in our room. We had a great balcony with views of the Dead Sea. The hotel also offered spa facilities for guests as well... More

My wife and I were two of Peter Olswang's group and would certainly concur with everything he wrote--it was a most enjoyable stay The staff were very attentive especially when my wife had an accident and they looked after her superbly

We took a group of 40 people to the David Dead Sea Spa in January 2015. We were all very well looked after. The staff were pleasant and attentive at all times. We were able to sit together at meal times and were given the use of a room for our own evening programme. Everyone in our group were happy... More

Never ever had I such a negative experience. 1. beach next to the hotel was closed due to construction. Why didn't you tell me that on the phone? Why do I have to walk 20 minutes to a public beach on Shabat? 2. I got a written and phone confirmation that i could leave the hotel saturday evening. Guess what?... More
