Our expectations were very high. The location is great, nice rooms, good food, but the service was bad, very very bad!!! We will not come back again. We stayed before at herods hotels in Eilat and tel aviv - they were great!

We had a reservation problem , we ordered room close to a elevator and got instead one far away, bad communication with reservation station but the management took care of everything , we felt very welcome . After the renovation this is very beautiful and a clean hotel . The rooms are very comfortable . Food was very delicious and... More

Our Bible class traveled from Phoenix, AZ to spend 10 days in the Holy Land. Two nights were spent at the Dead Sea. My husband and I were surprised by this hotel. Beautifully decorated, spacious modern rooms, pleasant staff. It was all about customer service. Right on the Dead Sea. Beautiful outdoor pool and surrounding areas. Salt water pool inside.... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights and enjoyed it enormously. The completely refurbished hotel is aesthetic and comfortable. The outside pool and surrounding area as well as the private beach and promontory are luxurious and comfortable. Everything seemed well-maintained, and the staff were pleasant and very helpful. Our room on the fourth floor was everything... More

It's the second time i've been to this hotel and will definitely go back there. Perfect location, zen place, very good therapists qt the spa (especially yonathan and claudio!). Prices are a bit expensive depending when you go there but in my point of view it's worth it.

This hotel exceeded expectations in every way. It was modern and well-equipped. I was traveling with my husband and his family. We have stayed in some nice 5 star hotels and spas, and everyone agreed that this was a great place. This would be a solid 4-star resort by American standards. The lobby area is beautiful and check-in was easy.... More

We stayed there for one night on HB basis. The room and hotel were very nice and clean and the swimming pool was nice as well. We took a couples spa treatment and it was well worth the money. The only downside to the hotel was the quality oft he food, as regular guests at Herods hotels we are used... More

We were for 3 nights with my wife. From de champagne at the reseption begun our very good stay. All the services are very good. The hotel is an old restaurated hotel (Moria Plaza) with new look and all new. The room at the 6th floor with a fantastic view. The spa with very good hot water pool with rich... More

This is the best Hotel I experienced in the dead sea, because: gourmet meals, a huge indoor dead sea water pool, very very good service, cleaning room even on Saturdays (rare in Israel !), a private beach, nice room with balcony towards the dead sea, entertainment every evening. Recomend to join "shamaim" club to get 10% reduction which covers the... More

One thing that the Dead Sea desperately lacks, in my opinion, is a relaxing and luxurious resort that is not overcrowded. I think Herods is one step closer. Although it does not have a luxurious feel, the lobby is nicely renovated and direct access to the beach without crossing the road is a huge plus. Our room 703 had a... More
