We arrived and there was a note for us to ring someone, within 5 minutes Lawrence arrived to greet us saying that our hosts had to go off an take care of an emergency. Lawrence then introduced us to what I thought was going to be the attic room we booked but to our surprise they had given us the... More

This was one of my most memorable B&B experiences. Excellent in all respects - the gracious hosts, the ambience over breakfast, the comfort of the room, rustic, with a fantastc view, the services in the salon/cuisine area - home outside the home. Excellent value. N.B: Visitors should relate to horses. They will hear a lot about them, and how they... More

My husband and I have just returned from a short break in the Pyrenees, where we spent four nights at the wonderful Haras Picard du Sant. My husband was riding in the Fabio Casartelli cycle sportive in nearby St-Girons, and as we also own horses this for us was the ideal place to stay. Jean-Louis and Christine are marvellous hosts,... one of the most spectacular views of the Pyrenees you'll find - Christine and Jean Louis have done an amazing job creating this beautiful haven - all the rooms full of rustic charm. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality....

We stayed here for 4 nights in July and it was one of our highlights in France. Jean-Louis and Christine are wonderful hosts, generous and good humoured. Our room was quirky but lovely. I can't believe how they can offer such great accommodation and breakfast for the price. We had the absolute pleasure of accompanying Jean-Louis to check his beautiful... More

Situated in a small village but well worth the detour from the main road. The welcome was warm, friendly and genuine and the room, including the waterbed, magnificent. Jean Louis booked us a table at a local restaurant where the welcome and food were impeccable and the bill did not break the bank. The next morning Christine not only provided... More

I stayed for 4 nights in the attic room; the welcome was warm and friendly, the room is thoughtfully and individually decorated and equipped. I loved it. Breakfast is wonderful; Christine & Jean Louis are superb hosts - if you get the chance to walk in the mountains during the weekly check of the horses, don't miss it! A lovely... More

Well, what an experience. In the middle of nowhere is an understatement. But, that is it's charm. We stayed there on the evening of Ascension and basically France was closed. Jean Louis made many phone calls to find us a restaurant and we had a great one (see my separate review). Our room was more like a cottage. Three rooms.... More

We stayed here for one night on our way from the valley of Lot to Biarritz. The hosts, Christine and Jean Louis, are very open and friendly. We enjoyed a very warm welcome. As we arrived late (it was past 7pm and getting dark), we were wondering if we would be able to have dinner at all as the village... More
