You can't go wrong with a KOA; yes, they are a bit pricier, but you get nice facilities including a large pool, gym, bouncing pillows, zip lines, and nature trails. The campground is large and has many cabins and the RV pull thru sites are large enough to accommodate a vehicle without blocking the roadways. Grocery and downtown Watkins Glen... More

This KOA is by far the best, I've ever stayed at. The staff was friendly and helpful and the bathrooms were VERY clean! There were activities for the kids all weekend. Indoor pool was warm and the spa is only for 16 year old and older. Some sites are small, but totally worth every penny. Great weekend and the camp... More

My experience has been that KOAs are more expensive than many other campgrounds, but I justify the additional expense with the fact that the bathrooms are clean and well kept. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at this KOA. We arrived at the end of a busy weekend - the campground was full - so that may explain why the... More

Stayed at Watkins Glenn KOA in NY from August 27th to the 2nd of September 2015. Pros: Near wineries and Watkins Glenn Main St. Area... Nice for families with kids with a nice play ground and a play area that has a large slide and large pillow that the younger kids will love. Has a nice zip line for all... More

Have visited the Finger Lakes wine country for years, but decided to camp this trip. Choose this KOA with our new travel trailer. Since we had not been there before, choose a more expensive site for our travel trailer because we knew it would be shaded. The campground area for the big rigs was under construction, so not the best,... More

This was our first time camping in a KOA campground. I have passed by these camps since I was a kid and always wondered what it would be like to try one. We tend to go to government run parks rather than private. To make it easier for the readers, I'll try to summarize this in subheadings. Location This campground... More

Stayed in the Seneca section right by the kids area. For those complaining about the highway, try calling ahead next time and asking where the quieter areas are as I did. The kids area was great! Giant jumping pillow, another inflatable jumping mattress. Activities for the kids almost every hour something new. The giant waterslide was like $4 or $5... More

Too many rules, camp fires out by midnight, outdoor tv's off by 10, cannot use your own wood for fires, pay extra for everything. And probably a good thing but they do not enforce any of the rules. They have a key card for the entrance gate which is a pain. Every time you come or go you have to... More

My family and I were here last year. This past weekend we returned to find many new experiences. A huge water slide, bumper boats, jumping pillow, zip line and movies in the woods. Lots to keep the kids busy. Very relaxing. Staff very friendly and helpful. We are planning a return visit soon.
