At our journey to Niagara Falls we wanted to have a stop with a nice activity. This hotel is within walking distance of Watkins Glen State Park and 15 minute walk to the lake. The rooms are clean, proper beds, but no too big. The owner also owns the Budget Inn Motel across the road, where guests can also have... More

Small room but clean with some nice touches, like nautical bathroom knobs, mirror and toilet seat top. Totally need some fabric softener in their laundry because the towels were like sandpaper! I saw a different review about seeing a bug. We didn't see any. The wifi was hit and miss.

Front desk manager very polite, room was very clean and well maintained. Reasonably priced for a popular tourist town especially during a prime time fall weekend. Within walking distance of local shopping, restaurants and park. Recommend!

We had stayed here about 8 years ago and had no problems so we decided to book here again for this visit. The rooms have been remodeled since our previous stay. This is a not a plush resort but we found the bed to be very comfortable and for the small amount of time we spent in the room we... More

I've stayed at the Seneca Clipper Inn for several years. It's very affordable and easy walking distance to the falls and eateries in town. If you come to town for the wine festival they will has the bus stop at the Inn to pick you up so no one has to drive. The people that own it are incredibly nice... More

My girl and I came to Watkins Glen and had the distinct pleasure of staying at this hotel. No frills, not plush nor posh , but a solid, clean, convenient place to confidently and comfortably lay your head. Check in was a breeze, the clerk was very friendly and extremely helpful. the room was quaint, clean, fresh sheets, fresh towels... More

A simple, clean room - no amenities, but serviceable. For the price, $95, I expected a little more though. Like...a clock... :) The guy who ran the office was congenial and pleasant. But, a word of advice, if you have guests coming to your motel, open the windows and air the place out before you give them a key! The... More

Stayed at the Seneca Clipper In on a quick trip to Watkins Glenn. The hotel room was fairly reasonably priced ($79). Room was very tired looking with older TV and two twin beds. The bathroom was extremely clean and looked as if it had been recently renovated. The overall location of the Inn was very convenient to downtown Watkins Glenn... More

A recent impulse trip with some friends visit a few breweries in the Finger Lakes area left us with a need for three reasonably priced rooms on short notice. We pulled into the Budget Inn and while they were full they also owned the Seneca Clipper and offered is the rooms at good group rate. Clean, simple rooms with no... More
