I've stayed at the Seneca Clipper Inn for several years. It's very affordable and easy walking distance to the falls and eateries in town. If you come to town for the wine festival they will has the bus stop at the Inn to pick you up so no one has to drive. The people that own it are incredibly nice... More

My girl and I came to Watkins Glen and had the distinct pleasure of staying at this hotel. No frills, not plush nor posh , but a solid, clean, convenient place to confidently and comfortably lay your head. Check in was a breeze, the clerk was very friendly and extremely helpful. the room was quaint, clean, fresh sheets, fresh towels... More

A simple, clean room - no amenities, but serviceable. For the price, $95, I expected a little more though. Like...a clock... :) The guy who ran the office was congenial and pleasant. But, a word of advice, if you have guests coming to your motel, open the windows and air the place out before you give them a key! The... More

Stayed at the Seneca Clipper In on a quick trip to Watkins Glenn. The hotel room was fairly reasonably priced ($79). Room was very tired looking with older TV and two twin beds. The bathroom was extremely clean and looked as if it had been recently renovated. The overall location of the Inn was very convenient to downtown Watkins Glenn... More

A recent impulse trip with some friends visit a few breweries in the Finger Lakes area left us with a need for three reasonably priced rooms on short notice. We pulled into the Budget Inn and while they were full they also owned the Seneca Clipper and offered is the rooms at good group rate. Clean, simple rooms with no... More

Good motel for the money. Close to Watkins Glen international and downtown. Apparently refurbished and was clean. Better than the other motels in the Glen I have stayed at over 20 + years. Bathroom was av r age size, the bedroom a little small for two king beds...

Ideal location for an overnight stay near to all amenities without being overpriced. Was doubtful about staying here but to be honest couldn't find fault with it. Room very clean, maybe basic but everything was in excellent condition. The bed was perfect and with air con we managed a good nights sleep and although no breakfast was provided there is... More

It was a last minute stop while we were traveling. Looked it up on TripAdvisor first and most of the reviews were OK. First list the best part. Bathroom was remodeled and clean except for the shower curtain that was dirty on the bottom. Should have gone to the dollar store to get a new one! Air conditioner looked new.... More

What a perfect spot to stay! A clean, no frills inn: easy walking distance to restaurants and harbour. There is a Tops right next door if you want to do food on the cheap. The owners are wonderfully sweet: great recommendations on where to eat (you have to walk to Curly's for breakfast: almost next door and is ridiculously inexpensive... More

I was looking for a last minute hotel and I found the Seneca Clipper Inn through Priceline. Since it was just me I didn't need a fancy room but I wanted something clean and close to where I was staying. I also saw this hotel had an average review of 7.7. For $99 I got a king size room. The... More
