During our safari we stayed here for two nights. Good food and the perfect location for a tour through Uganda! A perfect place to visit QENP and make a boat ride on the kazinga channel. The rooms are standard, a comfortable bed and all the necessary stuff that you need is there. Friendly staff and very helpful!

We stayed in a deluxe room for two nights during a road trip through southern Uganda. The room and bathroom are on the small side, but functional and comfortable. There is air conditioning, but no TV or hot water kettle. But, there is a covered patio with chairs overlooking the beautiful lake. The hotel has wi fi, but only in... More

I have made a vow to myself and to friends, since I travel frequently, to start doing tripadvisor reviews. I really don't want to review this place--it was not to my liking, but as the staff were so nice and accommodating, I hesitate to criticize. Truthfully, after staying at some small luxury safari lodges, it was hard for me to... More

Our stay at Mweya was perfect! Rooms were beautiful and clean. We had an incredible view of the channel from our room, and with the help of our binoculars we were able to see elephants and buffalo drinking from the channel, right from our balcony! The food was fresh and local with ample choices. Service was wonderful. There was a... More

Mweya is situated on a peninsula overlooking the channel right inside Queen Elizabeth Park. Beautiful view, super food and service, great tented room looking right at a spot where all sorts of game come down for water. Wonderful experience.

After staying in guest houses with no hot water, this was absolute luxury. Really good service. Watch out for your empty plate being whipped away as you put the fork down. Great food - lots of fresh fruit and local foods as well as western. The rooms we had were very pleasant. Good mosquito netting, comfortable beds and fantastic view... More

No trip to Uganda would be complete without a visit here. It was my first safari so will always be special to me but the rooms, the food, the pool and the service are really second to none. These guys have got it right and I can highly recommend a stop here for a few days during your travels.

Mweya Safari Lodge must have one of the most fabulous locations in the world, the views of the Kazinga channel are stunning and the birdlife just incredible. But the hotel is dated and our room was extremely shabby. I think the rooms in a UK travel lodge are bigger and the bathrooms certainly work more efficiently. Our room was a... More

I wish to draw your attention to the review for Mweya Safari Lodge that was posted on the trip adviser of April 13TH, 2013 under the Topic “Great location but Shabby rooms”. Even though the writer found our lodge to be in a fabulous location, he/she had some concerns about our rooms which they had labelled as “shabby”. The size... More

In March, 2013 I spent 2 nights at this beautiful lodge, a scene out of "old Africa" set above a lake and Kazinga channel. Beautiful sunsets could be enjoyed from my own patio or the outdoor decks. The room was spacious and the bed draped in mosquito netting although I never did see a mosquito. Free WiFi was a real... More

Stayed here in 2010. Me and two others rented a room here for two nights. They didn`t have any rooms for 3 persons left, so we got a cabin. It was huge, with two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a livingroom with a widescreen- tv. The cabin wasn`t far away from the reception, but they took us there in a golfcar. The... More
