Can't comment on the rooms at the Safari Lodge, but the food, drinks, and setting are fantastic. I stayed with family down the road at the Mweya Hostel (very basic but cheap accomodations). Safari Lodge was a perfect place to relax at the end of long bumpy game drives, have a drink, and watch the suset over the lake. Beautiful.... More

My friend and I visited Queen Elizabeth in July, staying at Mweya Safari Lodge. It was full to the rafters, so it felt busy - not that exclusive, perhaps.
