When you are settled down in your room at Kyambura Game Lodge, you notice the amazing view you have from your balcony! You can sit and watch elephants passing down while eating, or a herd of buffaloes. At night the oppressive mountains of the Kongo border are lightened with thunders, which assures you're in Africa.. The food is basic and... More

We stayed three nights at this quaint specialty lodge outside of Queen Elizabeth. The service was wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt like treasured guests and family. Abraham and Ben made sure that every meal was served hot and on time to fit our safari schedule. They even were up before sunrise with hot coffee and packed breakfasts... More

We stayed for two nights for our very belated honeymoon. It was the perfect place, the staff was good, the lodge nicely designed and the rooms fantastic to be in and look at and out. The covers of the sofa should be washed though a bit more often I assume. Food was good, view amazing, always electricity including plugs in... More

We have safaried all over Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda and this one was one of the best stops we had. Very close access to the animal park, wonderful pool, excellent food and the tent style lodges are just fantastic. We loved the bathrooms with there oversized walk in stone shower.

This was one of the highlights of my Uganda experience; never did I expect such luxury! This lodge was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, the views from the room were stunning, looking across miles of savannah plains. Albert greeted us enthusiastically and all of the staff were warm, friendly and went out of their way to ensure our comfort and provide... More

Had a two night stay here in early July and was very impressed, overall. The thatched cottage-style rooms are situated on the edge of an extinct volcanic crater and have piping hot showers, huge beds and power points for charging batteries. They are close to the restaurant and pool area but sufficiently far apart to provide ample privacy. The food... More

Had a wonderful stay at Kyambura Lodge. Great customer service - Albert and his staff took very good care of me and I highly recommend this place as your base, should you be heading towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. It's beatifully located on a rim facing the park, and you have an incredible view as far as the eye can... More

Kyambura was recommended to me and my girlfriend at the time (now fiance) by a friend after I had picked his brain about a quiet romantic place where I could propose with the confidence of a seasoned romantic. We arrived on a Friday to a hearty welcome from the manager Albert and were promptly ushered to our room. We connected... More

I promised myself I would leave a review after staying here. We felt that we needed to share our wonderful experience with this resort. Too many business don't receive the positive feedback they deserve due to happy customers being too busy to leave a review. First off, I noticed Kyambura Gorge Lodge which is ranked higher may have a handful... More

I had hoped to stay the Mweya Safari Lodge but for some reason we ended up here - and I'm very glad we did! The Kyambura Game Lodge is an excellent hotel, the cottages/bungalows were spacious and decorated with local materials, and isolated from other cottages by the gardens. As the hotel is perched above the plains there were sweeping... More
