First off, let me say that the manager and the staff at this lodge were incredibly nice. It is set on an escarpment and you can see a small watering hole in the distance that often has an elephant or two at it. There is a nice pool and the bar and dining area are very nice, with views of... More

This is definitely a bit out of the way of QEP, so although you overlook it, to get there in the morning it's a 45 minute drive. Yes it is near a village so it is not super quiet but we didn't hear the call to prayer at night as some travelers mentioned. It is I'm sure a good jumping... More

I stayed here while on safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park and had a blissful time. The staff and owner were warm and helpful, and were always on call when I needed their assistance. The private bandas are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, using natural materials. The food was very good and the dining area/bar/fireplace is gorgeous. I stayed during... More

Our cabin had an unobstructed view of the national park and woke up every morning to groups of elephants and waterbucks and lots of baboons. That is part of the amazing experience of being right there so close to traveling animals. We woke to the beautiful sound of the call to prayer and birds all around. Our cabin was nice... More

This was our base in which to explore the northern part of QENP and we had a very good stay. The lodge is outside the park so you do have to drive for 30 minutes or more to reach the attractions. It is located on a hill so enjoys great view. Our room was surrounded by many beautiful bird species.... More

We stayed here for two nights during our Chimpanzee Trekking and Queen Elizabeth National Park safari. The view was amazing and occasionally included elephants! Our private cottage was very nice and comfortable. Albert and his staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The food was excellent and there was free wifi in the restaurant area.... More

We stayed here after an incredible adventure with the chimpanzees at Kigale, on our way to see gorillas at Bwindi. Kyambura Game Lodge is close to opportunities for game safaris or river tours. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. Furnishings are simple and handcrafted wood. Very good wifi access. Our thatched hut... More

Our experience at the Lodge was terrific. The staff was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the views from our room were awesome. We saw elephants, ugandakob and baboons roaming in the valley below. However, the main office in Entebbe (which answers the phone number on the website) gave us a lot of incorrect information. Most importantly, if you make... More

Very disappointed, holes in the mosquito netting and windows, room had not been cleaned. Insects falling from the restaurant roof into our food at dinner. No security. Service was dreadful. No cushions on the seats on the decking or swimming pool. Half an hour out of the park down one of the most pot-holed roads in Uganda. Nearby road has... More

What an amazing place. The views are spectacular - no room is without a breathtaking view of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. The resort is quiet, beautiful and so comfortable. The staff are just amazing. So professional and yet so kind and wonderful. Albert, the manager, is a model of efficiency. Don't let his quiet, calm manner fool you -... More
