I did not have high expectations for the Traveler's Rest Hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. If you are going gorilla trekking in Nkuringo then this probably the only place to stay within a reasonable distance. The managers were a Dutch couple who were very pleasant going out of their way to greet anyone and make them feel at home.... more

Well... if you want a hotel full of history in a border town with Congo and Ruanda, this is the place for you. Rooms are good. African standard. Well sized overlooking beautiful garde with many birds (even the crested crane couple had its nest on one of the treetops quite near). It was said the hotel was renovated in 1999.... more
