A wonderful little hidden gem in the bustle of stone town; we stayed in the arabica suite which was stunning. Helpful and very friendly local staff, amazing coffee, delicious breakfast on the terrace watching / listening to the bustle of the town.

Relaxing, professional, yet friendly atmosphere with great cakes and coffee from a clean, beautifully decorated hotel! What more do you want! Central to Stone Town so very easy to walk to anywhere you want. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Centrally located in old Stone Town and close to everything. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We rented two very nice rooms both of which included A/C (which is a necessity unless you like to sleep in sweat!). The best part is the incredible views from the rooftop breakfast... More

We really enjoyed our one night stay at the coffee house. The location is perfect, set right in the midst of the bustling alleyways and walking distance from all the main sites. The room was comfortable and spacious and the service was excellent. We booked a city walking tour through the hotel, which we would definitely recommend. The included breakfast... More

If you come across this wee gem whilst lost in Stonetown streets , hot and bothered ! well you must go in to refresh and regroup! Great coffee that you can buy to take home, great cakes and juices. Lovely staff. There are a few rooms available upstairs that sound interesting

We stayed here for (sadly) only one night in January and thought it was the best accommodation we had had over our three week trip around the island. The rooms are excellent, the hostess and her team are very friendly and the small cafe on the ground floor superb. The breakfast on the top-floor terrace really made our stay, with... More

We were greeted promptly when we arrived and with a cup of coffee to get things started. The room was clean and well-kept. It was in a central location of Stone Town but not near the truly touristy areas. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic.

Quaint little hotel in Stone Town, with lots of character. The rooms were really unique, great AC to recover from the hot heat; clean bathrooms and rooms; awesome rooftop view for breakfast; incredibly helpful in organizing a transfer from the airport. We did one night there on our honeymoon and it was a great little find - and they clearly... More

I booked one night at this hotel, also known at the Kiko House, and ended up staying for my entire stay. It is located on a side street that is a very quick walk to everything, including the beaches. The street is generally quiet and the rooms are comfortable, though a bit funky- each one is slightly different. What makes... More

Great little hotel with a lovely vibe, friendly staff and charming, big rooms. Their coffee is great, and the hotel is positioned very handily in the centre of town but very quiet & perfectly positioned to walk the front/ and gardens
