I liked this little hotel. The owners were kind and laid-back. Clean rooms, simple and decent. A/C worked great. Breakfast was totally fine with a beautiful view. Great location. I like that they keep the fridge unlocked so you can grab a few beers or water and pay them when you check out. Relaxed feel to the place. I'd come... More

Would sincerely think again, much better options nearby. Nothing wrong with the service but the place is located in front of a vacant lot, the place looks like it should be condemned. The inside is very baron and the back room from the lobby was left open and we could see people sleeping on the floor. The manager, in all... More

“This hostel has good value for a money and location is good cause it is quiet neigborhood. Stuff is very helpfull, and can organise prety much everything in the town. Some of a reviews we've red said that there is a fish smell from a market but that is not true. Breakfast is fantastic, and homemade passion juice is something... More

We stayed here for 3 nights having had to move, at short notice, out of our room (next door) at Warere Town House due to bed bugs (despite this we would recommend Warere before Princess Salme; they are the same price but Warere is better quality in every way, especially breakfast). Rooms are reasonable although the showers were generally impossible... More

This is a clean and humble hostel located near the ferry terminal. The staff were friendly and conscientious, the breakfast was sufficient (although the cook kept forgetting orders). We had trouble with our booking on two different occasions. For the first night we had booked through Hostel World. When we arrived we found that our rooms had not been organised.... More

Decent rooms, good location, but very disappointed in the staff. It is usual that you bargain for your prices in east Africa. But we were charged double afterwards for extra services like laundry and transportation.

We arrived to find out that the B&B was nothing like it had been described it's advertisements. It is down a back alley in front of a fish market and looked nothing like the pictures shown. It was pretty dangerous and even the taxi driver didn't want to take us there and leave us there. After we arrived, they immediately... More

As I only wanted to stay Stone Town for a couple of nights - I decided to pick a no frills hotel. A couple of days is enough to see Stone Town, afterall, you're in Zanzibar to see the beaches aren't you? This is a very basic hotel so don't expect too much. Clean rooms - daily cleaning - mosquito... More

BUdget accommodation in the heart of Stonetown. Very conveniently situated. Just a short walk from the Ferry terminal. One can access most of the facilities in town on foot. The food market, restaurants, clubs and shopping facilities all within close proximity. The accommodation is clean. Mosquito nets are provided. The rooms have fans (no air conditioners). You have access to... More
