A good welcome with drink and flannel. 1st night in suite- nice big room huge bed but bathroom up another flight of steps and open air which would have been nice if it was more private. We loved every bit of our stay at the Zanzibar Palace Hotel...we arrived before our room was ready but were greeted with cold cloths and fresh-squeezed juice as well as smiles and friendliness from the manager, Jan. We stayed in the Zanzibar Palace for 3 days at the end of our honeymoon in September. We were very disappointed, as we expected a boutique hotel, and it's really more of an average bed and breakfast.
