Everyone seems to like this peachy hotel for vacation, and I couldn't agree more. The location is marvellous in every respect and the staff is so warm-hearted, always helpful and very professional. For the first two days of our stay we had chosen Mbweni Ruins Hotel, however, as the location for a workshop. A truely perfect choice: The hotel management... More

The hotel is amazing! The location is great not only because the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, but because its 10 minutes away from the airport. Great value for money and excellent service. Resident Manager friendly and approachable! Very nice food and very comfortable rooms with all kinds of facilities.

I chose the hotel in order to get a beachfront location, yet still be close enough to Stone Town for easy sight seeing. Complimentary minibus to Stone Town and back 3 time a day made it even easier. The beach is clean and secluded, but not swimmable at low tide. Manager, Dolf, and his staff were always friendly and helpful.... More

I loved this hotel! Location is incredible, and staff very friendly. They also have a fantastic yoga teacher who hosts classes there 3 times a week, and I paid for one on one classes and got taught at the end of the hotel jetty over the Indian ocean - bliss.

The hotel and restaurant have recently changed ownership and sad to say, the change on the restaurant side is not for the positive. I have been coming to Mbweni for years. The restaurant used to be a low key place to meet for a drink or relaxing lunch or dinner and to enjoy a spectacular setting. But things have changed...... More

Very good hotel! Everything was perfect. Staff was very kind! There where 2 free kajaks available, frisbees and volleyballs. The manager of the hotel was also very nice and friendly. We stayed here for three nights and overall had a great experience. The location was good, close to Stone Town with shuttle services, beach area was excellent, rooms were clean with ocean facing balcony which was great for watching sunsets. Great staff members. The only complaint I would have is the bed was not very comfortable, at times it felt... More

I was here with my 5 year old daughter and it is a perfect place if you want to chill out on the beach/hotel and relax. Rooms are all facing the beach and pool/garden.
