Guesthouse and rooms really ok for their price (30USD for a double). Location good, rooms clean, breakfast good. The staff however doesn't really like to work there it seems. They only get enthousiastic when trying to sell you tours. Still good value place for Stonetown, just don't expect much more then clean room, good location and good breakfast.

This place was really nice. Sparkling clean, spacious, well-lit rooms. Mosquito nets. Clean bathrooms. A social / dining area with a TV. Very friendly staff. The Jambo Guest House in Stone Town had cool,clean rooms (working a.c.) and nice mosquito nets. Had to share bathrooms. Adequate breakfast. A bit isolated and a bit far back in the narrow streets of Stone Town, especially after dark.

Rooms are clean with A/C and beautiful furniture. Breakfast is great. Location couldn't be better and neither could the price.
