It was a nice room and value for money, 2 minutes walk from the ferry and the city. Well, in stone town everything is within 5 minutes walk The restaurant on the rooftop was not very impressive. But they had tea from a pot. I will never come back as I won't set foot on Zanzibar again. Coming for Dar... More

This hotel was what it said on the packet - plain, clean rooms with air conditioning (a must in Zanzibar) and an incredibly comfy bed. Breakfast in the morning was lovely: an assortment of fruit, pastries, bread with eggs and pancakes to order. The atmosphere of breakfast on the rooftop is just ruined by a noisy TV on the wall.... We stayed at the Zanzibar grand palace hotel for 2 nights. We got in the night before the festival of Eid-ul-adha and we really wanted to wear the traditional garb on Eid day. The porter was so nice, he took us to the market so my husband and I could buy traditional clothing for the festival, even though the shops... More

While I had a huge issue with the breakfast we were served, I can not fault the friendly and super helpful staff. I can not fault the pristine clean bathrooms and bedsheets. Super shout out to Sara- she helped organise a birthday cake for my friend and showed genuine concern for us. To the kitchen staff...you guys rock. Mohammed deserves... More

Great hotel a few minutes walk from the Zanzibar "city" centre. Very clean rooms with good food at their roof top restaurant. Friendly staff too. Excellent for ferry travellers. In house travel agent.

We stayed for one night at this hotel. The best thing about the place is the staff. They are exceptionally friendly, responsive and helpful. Also, the location is great - walking distance to the harbour, other restaurants, Stone Town etc. Sadly, our room was disappointing. It was small, with a small bathroom. The floor of the bathroom was wet when... More

The hotel staff was so helpful from the airport pickup to letting us store our luggage there the day we were just waiting for the ferry. Clean rooms, nice breakfast, and I loved the beautiful rooftop restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This place is absolutely worth the extra money to stay here and be treated with the utmost respect by the staff and feel comfortable and clean! The staff was so helpful with helping give me recommendations around town and they were able to answer all my travel related questions. They helped set up a taxi when I wanted to go... More

We stayed three nights at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. Staff regularly went above and beyond to meet our needs. The room was a little noisy but not excessively. Location is close the ferry and within walking distance to shops, the National Museum and Forodhani Gardens where there is a nightly food festival.... More
