We spent 2 nights in Stone Town Cafe and it was a fantastic stay. I found the staff to be personable and friendly. Ibrahim downstairs is a legend and I really hope his dream of coming to London comes true! The rooms were well serviced and maintained. Air conditioning worked fine as well. There are stairs as people have mentioned... More

I just stayed one night, but a nice ambiance, rooms have got all you need and are really clean. Cute little cafe downstairs. For a Stone town place to stay, this is a good one and on a small street off the main drag.

Audrey the manager was amazing, friendly and super helpful. The food was excellent and the staff were actually concerned about all their guests. They were super honest and did everything they could to help us. Food was good and the rooms were clean and and great. Awesome location, we had a great time!

This is a quaint and small hotel but has everything you need for a stay in Stone Town. It is clean and well maintained and the staff were friendly. The hotel is very well situated to all the attractions in the town and also very convenient for Sun Downers at Africa House. Our room had AC, a TV and a... More

The location of this quiet little B&B is possibly its most attractive feature. It is located right in the middle of the commercial/touristy area of Stone Town, which puts most of the town's tourist attractions, souvenir shops and restaurants/bars within walk-able distance. It is located right next to the Shangani Post Office - which makes it very convenient if you... More

It was a very pleasant stay in this lovely B&B. Clean, cool and spacious rooms. Staff was most helpful. Breakfast was original: no 'boiled or fried' eggs in the morning. I would definately stay there again!

Bouquets: Location is good in the middle of the winding streets of Stone Town & the building itself has a certain charm; the manager is helpful and the local staff very friendly; the cafe downstairs is a bonus with some nice food & a place to just chill; taxis are available right outside at reasonable prices. Brick bats: I feel... More

Thanks for your review. We strive to keep our prices at the lower range of room rates in Stone Town, and think we manage this. Unfortunately in Zanzibar, one of the struggles we have is finding quality fittings and tradesmen. We have taken your comments about the bathroom on-board and given it a complete overhaul since your visit. We hope... More

My partner and I stayed three nights at the Stone Town Cafe after our safari. The rooms were clean and comfortable (and the soap is really nice!!). The breakfast was very tasty.... Some of the best food we had in Zanzibar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

This proved to be an excellent choice as a Hotel to explore the various aspects offered by StoneTown, being situated very much in the centre of Town, Kenyatta Road. The room was a good size, with en suite, and cleaned every day. Breakfast was the best on the Island - the freshest fruit ! But most of all, the service... More
