We stayed her 4 nights before flying back home so we could still be able to go to Stone Town or even to take a taxi to Kendwa Beach or further North. Always a special on dinner and lunch and I eventually found my brandy after 3 weeks of traveling... thank you...😃 Nice accommodation with Sea view from the eating area. Was great to meet the guests while over looking the calm waters.... Enjoy 😍

Such a gem of a place! Great attentive service and well located for Stone Town. It has an old style charm, so uber modern minimalism is not to be expected the garden is wild, the communal lounge areas are well worn and comfy. Due to local flooding we could use the beach out back, but took a great 2 hour drive to fabulous beach that was all but deserted of tourists! the wifi in the resort was shockingly poor but apart from that great for the money.

Imani beach villa was really a nice place to stay. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was an absolute pleasure being there. On the property you will meet a dog named hope with a missing leg and heart full of love, very friendly and when you go for a walk on the beach she is all to eager to join. The host/owner(Ahmed) and his staff was very friendly and professional at all times. At night sometimes Ahmed will join us for a drink 🥃 and we will laugh and share stories about our travels and country. The food 🥘 was delicious(we had mostly curry) and sampled some items here and there, oh and the fries were to die for as they are freshly prepared. Getting around was no trouble...Imani beach villa seem to be in good contact with local transfers and private companies. When we wanted to visit one of the many tourist attractions they will arrange for someone to pick us up take us there and meet out guide and bring us back at the arranged time. I highly recommend Imani Beach Villa to anyone traveling to Zanzibar, Tanzania.

I spent two night at Imani and it is a great little den to spend some time chillaxing. 10 minutes from stone town. Staff is professional, food exquisite and rooms confortable. We went on a tour the following day to Prison Island and the Manager joined us, it was great, the boat captain and the tour guide were super lovely, we swam after the visit and had lunch. Good times!! I would recommend Imani if you're looking for a secluded place with nice people away from the rush and buzz of town.

What an unforgettable experience we have had. This has to be one of the most beautiful countries we have visited, with warm and kind-hearted, welcoming people. The beauty of the beaches, the wildlife and local life is something we will not be forgetting anytime soon. We stayed at Imani Beach Villa Resort in Bububu for 5 nights - the only complaint we had was that it wasn’t long enough! An authentic and beautiful location and facilities run by Yousef and his loving family who went over and above to accommodate us. From massages on the beach, drinks on the rooftop bar looking at the sunset, lounging around eating freshly caught fish to arranging trips, taxis and days out to places you would never go as a ‘normal’ tourist - this family and it’s kind attentive staff were always there at our beck and call. The rooms were cleaned everyday and were exclusive with good internet access and warm showers. Mosquito nets were provided, as well as bug spray, AC and towels. The entertainment was superb - from family games at the restaurant/bar to a huge BBQ with local dancers and entertainers (including fire breathing) was breathtaking and something for everyone to enjoy. You truly feel apart of a family here and the interaction with the other guests and locals is something you would never get in a big hotel resort. The 3-legged resident dog (Hope) and her kitten friends, enjoy nothing more than protecting the guests and exploring the beach in a morning walk. I cannot recommend Yousef and his beautiful home enough. The only thing I can say to show my gratitude is thank you and we will definitely see you again!

We chose this hotel mainly because we wanted to be near to the airport so we didn’t have to get up at the crack of dawn. The hotel is fine, we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was huge! Everything worked, the food was as good as you’ll get in Tanzania and the owner was pleasant and helpful. However the hotel is on a fishing beach which was interesting but I felt a bit awkward going in the sea in my cossie or sunbathing on the small beach as there weren’t any other tourists around and all the local women were covered up. Also the beach was rocky so it was quite hard to get into the sea except at the height of the tide. Also there didn’t seem to be any other hotels close by to eat, which was ok but it’s nice to have a choice. The first night we were there next door was an extremely loud disco until after 1am. This didn’t bother us much as our room faced away from it but I don’t know how it impacted on others. The next dat there was a wedding at the same venue and loud music went on all afternoon, which didn’t make for a relaxing time on the beach. I don’t know if these occurrences are regular or not. So would I choose this hotel again? Yes, for one night if it was to leave or arrive in Zanzibar. Otherwise no as there are nicer beaches on the east coast.

my family and i had a great time at Amani beach villa. The Staff welcomed us nicely. we had booked online, and by the time we got there, we found everything ready for us, including rooms to choose from. the room was clean, fresh sheets everyday, hot water in the showers and the A/C was working. we loved their menu, we just could not get enough of the sea food. they made arrangements for us to tour some places, which really made our stay comfortable and arranged transport for us to the ferry on our last day. we had a very nice time.. this is definately a place we shall go back to the next time we visit Zanzibar.

A very nice large room with a/c, comfortable beds, and a nice hot shower. The bar & Restaurant has really good menu and the food is all freshly prepared. It also has an amazing sunset view with lots of activity from the fishing boats in the foreground. We stayed for our last night as we had to get to the airport early the next morning. The owner organised transport for 3.30am and when we came out to wait, we found that he had got up and was waiting with coffee and juice to see us off. Excellent service!
