Our family of six (children aged 18, 17, 16, and 12) stayed at the Tree Lodge for two nights in mid-June 2015. This was part of a two-week trip across Northern Tanzania with andBeyond, divided into four locations: Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Crater Lodge, Serengeti Under Canvas (Western Section), and Serengeti Klein's Camp (please see separate reviews of each location).... A great property in itself. I loved the concept of being in such a luxurious tree house. The rooms are massive with a double bed, a living room, a large bathroom with a free standing tub and an outdoor shower. The highlight is the large deck where we stood watching an elephant graze just an arms length away. In the... More

This was our last stop (our 6th) on our safari - spending 2 nights at each location with only 1 night at Serengeti Pioneer Camp. We absolutely loved this experience - so different from the other places we had stayed. Entering Lake Manyara National Park was a hugely different experience than the Serengeti & Ngorongoro - each is a unique... More

The tree lodge is located deep in the national park surrounded by Forrest it is really a unique location you can absolutely feel the wild surroundings, one of the most amazing things about the place is how close you can get to any kind of animal we had the lions on the trees a couple of hundred of meters of... We stayed one night during our honeymoon. We stayed in top locations across Tanzania, but the food here was by far the best - absolutely delicious variety of flavors. We arrived back from safari to find champagne on ice and our personal butler had ran us the most amazingly huge bubble bath! A beautiful hotel with outstanding food and service.... More

2 nights (maybe 2 nights too many?) of 11 day Safari, third of 4 &Beyond camps (Under Canvas, Crater Lodge, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, Grumeti). Surprisingly both the high points and the low points of our trip were here. High points. - A riotous and very attentive butler who surprised us with a champagne pool side lunch…and a family of... The cabins definitely don't look like the pictures. The generator is turned off at circa 2am so be warned because the fan get's turned off and if it is hot outside then you will have trouble sleeping. Food isn't great at this location. I am sure you can find better value.

and Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge was the second part of our safari, after Serengeti Bushtops and it was a perfect base for an excellent complementary safari experience. We weren’t fortunate enough to see the renowned tree lions, but we had a great time nevertheless. The landscape, birdlife (eg flamingos and numerous other species) and some of the Small Five... We arrived to Lake Manyara and was met by our guide offering some refreshments and snacks which was really nice after the flight. We drove into the park and had a game drive as the lodge is the only one in the park and is over an hour drive. On our first game drive we saw all types of animals... More

First of all we have to thank to Jomandie Habari from the εBeyond-group for the organisation of our trip trough Tanzania which included the visiting of 4 Lodges in the mid of December 2014. Your programming was perfect, all the connections by car and airplane where perfect fitting and we had never to wait. In all lodges we had very... More
