Manyara Ranch is a wonderful luxurious permanent tented camp located near Lake Manyara. We stayed there for 4 days and loved it, game drives at dawn and at night enabled us to see lion and nocturnal creatures and a special highlight was watching elephant swimming and playing in the dam. There are 5 horses available to ride (you need to... More

Manyara Ranch was my favorite accommodations in Africa. The tents are wonderful. You feel like you are camping but you are sleeping on comfortable beds and have bathroom facilities in the tent. I felt like an adventurer. It is the right amount of rustic with modern conveniences. In the evening, people gather around a campfire under the stars, having drinks... More

The camp Manyara Ranch offered us an unique experience. Personal attendance and service were excellent. Safari by horse riding had been very well organized. Well trained horses imported from Kenia are available. We can highly recommend the camp.

The MRC is located on a conservancy, owned by the AWF so you are able to travel everywhere, not just on the main trails. You are also able to do a morning WALK, no 4x4 necessary for this adventure. With a guided hunter, we were able to get very close to the animals and follow and learn about the different... More

The most memorable glamping experience! Comfortable tents with hot water. Every meal is fine dining all the way. Greg and team's hospitality is superb. The surprise sunset pre dinner drinks wow us - what a life watching the wildebeast roaming the savannah with the bright orange sun at the background. The conservancy is the home of 2 cheetahs, we walked... More

This is a review of both the tented lodges at the Ranch and the Ranch itself. We stayed at the Ranch during our visit to the Tarangiri national park and Lake Manyara park. The tented lodges are permanent structures with wood floors and are built on raised platforms. Each tent has electricity and attached full bathrooms. Hot water is provided... More

Wow! Now this was glamping!! This place was amazing - great accommodations, great people, great service and fabulous food! We stayed two nights here. They had large tents with a bed, campaign desk, armoire, foot locker (with lock to store valuables), sink with counter, toilet and shower all with running hot water! One note about the hot water. Each tent... More

The facilities are breathtaking and the service is above and beyond unbelievable. The tents are more like a Ritz Carlton suite and Greg, Dez and the rest of the guys were there to make sure everything went perfectly. The chef is amazing and when you are there, try everything. I can not recommend this enough.

After having spent 8 busy days on safari (logging hundreds of miles on gut-churning roads!), I had the privilege of staying at this wonderful ranch for two nights - sadly not long enough! The first night, I was the only guest at the ranch, and was doted on by the staff! They all made me feel very welcome. Dez made... More

Wonderful setting, total immersed in the bush and surrounded by animals. Great service from Alan - and the ever-keen Jason - and very, very comfortable permanent tents. The highlight are the safaris- early morning walks in beautiful light, daytime game drives with abundant elephants, giraffes and lion, and night-time drives into the dark bush with an open-top jeep, a Masai...
