Yes, I said Awesomesauce. That's a word I reserve for the absolute most amazing, best things that I've encountered. Manyara Ranch Conservancy is Awesomesauce. You get a bed to sleep on, a toilet, shower, sink, and that's where the it stops being a hotel and turns in to a high end nature experience. With Chris and Shoshanna you get two... More

In November 2011 I had the opportunity to stay at the Manyara Ranch Conservancy. Our accommodation was amazing and we could not fault it at all. To hear the lions roaring outside our tent at night made this a magical experience. Chris and the staff made our stay just perfect. One of my most memorable times was getting bogged on... More

My first experience with a tented camp came at Manyara Ranch Conservancy. I did not know what to expect. On arrival at Manyara Ranch we were greeted by the camp Manager Chris. Our briefing to the camp was very thorougher as it is an open camp with no fences and wild animals can pass through it. We were then take... More

The combination of accomodations, people and setting made this a highlight of our trip to TZ. Chris runs an amazing camp. The tents are spotless, luxurious and there are only 6 of them! The attached bathrooms are just like home - running water in the sinks, rainhead shower and flush toilet complete with the blue water! What a treat to... More

I cannot recommend Manyara Ranch highly enough. From the warm welcome from Julius, Chris and Jo, the very comfortable tents, lovely setting and the freedom that comes from being on a private conservancy. Perfect! More

Visiting Manyara ranch is a truly fantastic experience! You are absolutely spoilt with the thousands acres of wild roaming animals, attentive staff, exceptional food and knowledgeable hosts. I would fully recommend the walking safari and for those who ride, the riding, as being so close to the animals with out the shell of the jeep is something you will never... More

Manyara Ranch was absolutely superb. A real and genuine welcome, friendly staff who made us all feel completely at home, exclusivity, total peace and quiet, great food and most importantly of all the best hosts we have ever experienced. I wish we had stayed longer..... It's rare to meet hosts who understand and love their surroundings so completely, nothing was... More

This is a really authentic and professionally run camp in a great location. I had great game viewing both on an afternoon game drive, sundowner at the hide overlooking a waterhole and on a night drive. Excellent well informed guides, good service and food. I would recommend to anybody seeking the real thing. More

How do I begin to describe Manyara Ranch Conservancy and the days we spent there? Words are not adequate, but I will try to tell you about an "experience of a lifetime". Our family (3 of us) had been traveling through Kenya and Tanzania for almost 2 weeks when we arrived at Manyara Ranch. We had seen so many amazing... More

Manyara Ranch was our first stop in Tanzania and afforded an opportunity to experience "the bush" up close and directly. Though small compared to the Seregeti, all of the wildlife is there in abundance and without the "crowds of vehicles". Chris and Joanna, the managers, bring vast knowledge and understanding of the area, wildlife, culture, history, people, and enthusiastically share... More
