A very easy drive from Durban gets you to this hotel in the Berg in a really beautiful location with amazing mountain views. We were upgraded to a 6 sleeper chalet (number 120) This self catering chalet was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished with the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! The hotel reception, lounge, dining and conference... More

We spent 3 nights at Little Switzerland, and relished every minute. The room was lovely, the scenery stunning, facilities are very good, staff were wonderful, and food is delicious with a really good variety on offer. I would definitely recommend a visit, and we will most definitely return.

We (My husband, 23 year old son and his friend) spent 4 nights over the Easter weekend at Little Switzerland and once again had a wonderful time. I have found on previous occasions, and at different hotels, that when you return to a previously good place you can be a bit disappointed but not this time. We stayed here over... More

Just had the most delicious lunch at the Little Switzerland hotel in the Drakensberg! Fresh ingredients, innovative menu and perfect service! Kids had a ball running in the grounds!! Also most impressed with the kids daily activities. Will definitely give the hotel a try next time!

Spent 3 days at this stunning location in the self- catering chalets. The chalets were pleasantly decorated, very well equipped and had a calm and relaxing atmosphere with the most stunning views of the Amphitheatre. The gardens are well kept with an inviting pool and great play facilities for little ones. Each chalet has a fireplace which gives you a... More

Spent 3 nights here...Most awesome views of the mountains around. The Chalets are a little old now and do need a revamp especially the bathrooms. The service at reception is excellent and the facilities are tops. Glen will make your booking process an absolute dream.

This review is rather long so let me start by summarizing that my stay at Little Switzerland was just beautiful. The chalets are comfortable, well maintained-and-stocked and spacious. And for R450 per person per night; the hotel offers great value. The majority of the rooms face the Bergs so relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning or a... More

What an amazing stay at Little Switzerland over Easter. The staff and owners do an a awesome job of making feel at home. Situated on the Oliviershoek Pass above Bergville you are greeted with some of the best views in the entire Drakensberg. Accommodation is in thatch "Swiss Style" chalets, the best of which are the "delux" or "Executive" ones as... More

We visited from 29 December 2014 till 12 January 2015. We were very happy and very relaxed in our chalet overlooking the cows, put put field and tennis courts. It probably is the most beautiful view you could wish for. The best is in the afternoon when electric storms start building up. These are storms of NOTE!!! We looked forward... More

We stayed in the self catering cottages and found the unit to be comfortable and homely. The kitchen was well equipped and the place was neat and clean. The only suggestion I'd make is to include an additional chair & table for the upstairs bedroom as the balcony with the beautiful view seemed wasted. We enjoyed the hikes in the... More

Dear Katealexan, Thank you for taking the time to review our Resort. I have noted your suggestion about the upstairs balcony and will discuss it with Management. It does seem a waste not to be able to sit quietly and enjoy the scenery from up there. I am glad that you enjoyed the Resort and hope to host you again.... More
