Great location with nice view of the sunset over the ocean from a terrace on the sea. Room (junior suite) was big with a nice bathroom with the bidet. The 3rd bed in was not comfortable. Cleaning was poor. Food nothing special. The staff members seem to make you a favor when they speak to you or serve food. They... More

I did not stay at the hotel for the night but had booked it for the day. I was renewing my wedding vows and Hiton had arranged the whole thing for me. I am very bad with names and hence dont remember the name of the lady who helped me but I sure can never forget how helpful and resourceful... More

My husband and I chose sunset beach hotel for the last part of our honeymoon, looking forward to some beachy relaxation after a safari in Africa. We had a great stay! The hotel is smaller than most of the fancy resorts you'll find on Mahe, but it makes it more intimate and quiet. It has character, unlike the bland-looking many-floored... More

Really enjoyed our 5 night stay at sunset beach hotel... The location was spectacular and it has the small resort feel. Not too busy and you can get to know the staff, who were all really friendly. If I go back to the Seychelles (which i'd love to) I will stay there again.

My partner and I holidayed in Mahe Island, Seychelles in May 2014. We both agreed it was the most beautiful island we have ever visited (in the world)...and we have seen lots of beautiful islands and beaches. We absolutely loved the Sunset Beach Hotel. We loved the fact that it was quant (small - I think only 12 bungalows?) and... More

Wow, what a great experience in this hotel, this is a repeat hotel, private beach. Excellence service of a young staff that is well trained and sweet. Champagne and cocktails to celebrate this great location. Made friends with some fishing boats that took me on a tour of the coast. Coming back soon!

My wife and I have just returned from a magical week in the Seychelles and have good memories of the Sunset Beach. We hired a car from the airport (recommended, as there is so much of the island to see, and a car gives you eating options in the evening). Be aware that from what we saw, a lot of... More

After all my years of travelling this has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in - the rooms are very tired and dated and the public toilets well unusable to say the least. Breakfast is shocking and the most unhelpful rude staf in the whole of the Seychelles. Not a good location as you need... More

Sunset Beach is something of an antidote to the normal big brand 5 star hotels; its small, its friendly and a little quirky. The hotel rooms are on the shore while the lobby, restaurant, swimming pool and bar are perched on granite rocks that stick out into the sea. The bar in particular has a wonderful position right above the... More

We would recommend The Sunset Beach Hotel to anyone. Great hospitality, great rooms and great food. There is a private beach just in front of your room. Our room was comfortable with a large bathroom; extra pillows, a hair dryer and plenty of towels to hand. The hotel itself was perfectly clean. The staff were polite and helpful - offering... More
