This hotel is situated in a beautiful location with rooms pointing towards the ocean. It is true that the outside walls need a bit of refreshment, but the rooms were well kept, spacious and had a beautiful view. It is also conveniantly close to Victoria and the Beau Vallon Beach, where the restaurants and shops are. We just had one... more

My husband and I spent 10 amazing days at this hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Ali, Florence, Kevin and the manager Peggy, they made our honeymoon something we will always remember. The food was very nice, I am vegetarian and they made me special meals every day. We stayed in a few rooms, when we arrived... more

First impressions on arrival from the UK could not have been better, a lovely welcome by the reception staff with fresh juice and flowers. The location is picture-postcard perfect, with the stunning turquoise sea and beautiful private beach. My wife's eyes filled up just looking at it! Our room (sea-view) and location above and overlooking the beach, was lovely, although... more

Have just returned from a week at Sunset Beach Hotel. The welcome was lovely - with a garland of Frangipani flowers and a fruit juice cocktail. The staff were very friendly, helpful and extremely courteous at all times. I had an ocean view room which was spacious, clean and airy. I am a 60+ lady travelling alone and was perfectly... more

First I should declare an interest; this is our eighth stay at the Sunset Beach in twelve years. In our search for sun and sea our trips have included the Caribbean, Mauritius and Cape Verde but we keep returning to the Seychelles. The scenery is wonderful and the people are so genuinely friendly. The downside is the ten hour flight... more

We stayed at this resort for a week following a perfect week at Labriz on Silhouette Island. I admit that going from the luxury of Labriz to any hotel was going to be tough to follow but we were very disappointed on arrival at Sunset Beach. We had no major problems but to say it is first class is not... more

Arrived at Sunset Beach Hotel and immediately welcomed with a Smile, a Garland of Orchids and a refreshing Cocktail - what a wonderful start to a special holiday !! Our room looked out onto the turquoise Ocean - Junior Suite highly recommended. Make sure you keep the Air Con on all of the time as the mozzies are a bit... more

Room very small . Bathroom dirty lots of cockroaches. Service bad most of the staff could not be bothered. Food not good they did not know how to cook. They over charged on the bill. The only good thing is the location nice beach. Would not return to this hotel again. Pat Essex more

Arrived at Sunset Beach after a 10hr flight from England. Sat in the reception for 1hr because the room was not ready, if we had not asked what was happening or asked for a drink we would not have received either an explanation or a drink. The first thing we did was have a shower which flooded the bathroom due... more
