Great location overlooking the valley of Imlil and the Toubkal national park. The staff was very attentive and helpful in organizing day treks as well as giving advice about other activities. The food was delicious and the terrace is an amazing place to relax in the sunshine!

The hotel is located at the top of Imlil in the mountainside and in my opinion should also be at the top of the list of places to stay - we loved it! On arrival in Imlil village we were met by Hamid and his donkey to help carry our suitcases up the mountain. This is absolutely essential as it... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in December. Like every other review here the thing to be careful of is the walk up to the hotel - it is almost like a 30 minute hike up every time. However once you get there the place itself is wonderful and the terrace had wonderful views of the mountain. In December we... More

Positives – This hotel is tucked right up on a hillside in a spectacular position. We arranged a grand taxi for ourselves from Marrakech through the hotel and the driver was safe and courteous and the price ok (550D each way). As others have noted, you reach the hotel by a 15min or so walk up from the road (a... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in early June 2014. If you want tV, Telephone, Wi-fi, a la carte menus, alcohol, full service spa then don't stay here - stay at Richard Branson's hotel for twice the price. But if, like us you want solitude, lovely food, fantastic mountain views, friendly welcoming staff then choose this hotel. Note that if... More

Just had 4 nights stay here. Nawal (the manager) was vey helpful and friendly. She made sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the mountains was spectacular. What a view! Had a great time! Nowal also organised our trek up mount toubkal . Thanks to our guide... More

Although the passage up to the hotel will require sturdier footwear than flipflops the hike is well worth it, especially when a mule goes ahead with the luggage. The views are fabulous. The hotel is pricey. The evening meal was better than the breakfast. The reason to visit Imlil is the area which is amazing whether conquering Mount Toubkal or... More

Good points: Big room, big bed, nice bath, robes provided, tea on arrival, prompt to sort out guidance for us when we called having arrived in the village, helpful kitchen staff, very quiet. Bad points: Front of house / management disinterested in showing us round or giving information and rarely to be found at the front desk. Freezing cold even... More

We stayed here only two nights and seriously wished we had booked for a week. Nawal arranged our taxi from Marrakesh to Imlil and porter/donkey for the rest of the way (more pricey than if we had arranged it ourselves, but blissfully hassle-free). From Imlil it was a beautiful walk through the walnut tree woodlands in full autumn colours following... More

The Le Village Du Toubkal & Spa sounds luxurious and welcoming:The overall web review on the luxury holiday site we took the booking from portrayed a totally different view of this 3 year establishment, it had definitely been enhanced by photo lighting inside. The welcome was poor, no information available to browse through, the meals were the cheapest set menu... More
