My friend and I stayed in Auberge Lepiney before and after climbing Jebel Toubkal. They also provided us with a guide for a price that we found fair. His name was Rashid and with a good sense of humour and decent English we enjoyed his company during the climb very much. When we came back to Imlil they offered us... More

We were a group of 19 who stayed here for a couple of nights before and a night after our expedition up the atlas mountains and to toubkal. Was lovely being a little out of the village and the breakfast was fine. They had a little lack of understanding as to what vegetarian meant but soon put it right after... More

Good clean basic accommodation and an excellent host. Arrived late at night and was presented with a warm welcome, mint tea and the biggest tagine you've ever seen. Lahcen's knowledge of the mountains is second to none and your happiness is his primary concern. To illustrate an example, I left Imlil in a taxi and headed for Marrakech, upon arrival... More

Lahcen BOUREDDA is the owner and mountain guide for the Atlas Mountains. Taking a group into the mountains for a 7 day trek we used Auberge Lepiney as the base camp, Lahcen providing good clean and basic accommodation- beds, hot showers and toilets. There is a good sized terrace with superb views and the food was excellent and more than... More

This gite had the most amazing views and we spent a relaxing afternoon and night here en route to Toubkal. The first gite we stayed in was basic to say the least so this one was very luxurious in comparison! To sit in the sun with amazing views of the Atlas mountains was a real pleasure, all of our group... More

This was suggested to us by a riad in Marrakech. It seemed like a mere connection, don't think he really had any knowledge of the place. It was all we wanted though. Basic quiet accommodation in the mountains. We paid a package (bargained) that included 2-way transport from Marrakech, all food, 2days of hiking, twin room. Noisy family members roaming... More

We've been approached by the owner already in the village, actually still sitting in the taxi. The offered price was OK for us so we agreed to take it. After that he started to offer us meals to buy, etc. with high price as for Imlill. Eventually we agreed after some bargaining but the quality we received was really poor.... More

The owner will quite likely intercept you at the town center already and try to sell you various things. I rented crampons for the Toubkal hike - equipment was ok, but a bit pricy. The owner however let not leave me without selling me an overpriced tangine at 100DH for the next day that I had to prepay already and... More

Overall my experience of this Inn was very positive. Lahcen is a very nice and trustworthy man who does his best to cater to your every need and he sorted out myself and all my friends food, equipment and transport needs before and after the ascent to the base camp of Mount Toubkal. Only negatives would be the cold shower... More

The Auberge de Lepiney is really nicely situated and causy, I just read some of the comments here on tripadvisor and Im an bit surprised: of course its in the mountains at 1800m and its a bit cold in the night, but you cannot expect Switzerland-Confort (and this is not what I am looking for travelling in such countries, mor...
