it was just OK, nothing special, guys interesting more in tips rather than better service however the area is a breathtaking the WiFi is poor, but the most important is that we never know if the food is cooked by taking hygiene procedure into consideration?????

When, not if, I come back to Imlil, this place will be where I'll stay. A beautiful riad with a genuine high authentic feel to it. Very friendly staff. Beautiful mountains. Bustling atmosphere of the town close by, but not too close. Already the first night, this place felt like home.

We had a fantastic family room which was comfortable and clean and enjoyed panoramic views of the High Atlas and Kasbah du Toukbal. Breakfasts were delicious and included pancakes, really good coffee, fresh juice, jams, honey, yoghurts and cerial, perfect ahead of a day's trekking. The evenings can be chilly at Easter time, so and we enjoyed earing dinner in... More

Dar Imlil, really friendly place for a family, couple or group to stay. Locally owned and run by people who care about the village and community. They are great with children too. Hotel organised some interesting excursions for us and in doing so we met some lovely local people. Food is traditional Berber and really good. Staff are the most... More

We arrived at Dar Imlil in June 2014 with a party of 27 (this was a school visit), and we immediately served with good food, with a starter of soup with good flatbread, tagine, and fruit for dessert. The beds are competent, but most importantly the views are breathtaking, especially from the terrace. In addition the decor was of a... More

Great location for exploring the villages and hills around Imlil. Our guides (Rashid and Mohammed), organized by the Riad, were great and took us to some amazing places. Staff and food also excellent. We stayed at Dar Imlil having been told that there was no room at Kasbah du Toubkal but that this sister riad was similar in finish. While... More

We booked two rooms beside each other for ourselves and our 2 children, aged 10 and 6. The rooms are huge and comfortable, with heating/aircon depending on the season. We arrived late-ish in the evening and were served dinner in front of a roaring fire. Note that if you want alcohol you'll have to bring it from Marrakech, there is... More

We stayed here the night before and after spending three days climbing and ski - trekking on and around Mount Toubkal. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Dinner highly recommended (typical maroccan soup and beef tajine). Rooms are large with balconies and views to the mountains. The local village Hamam is just around the corner. For us, Dar Imlil was... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife, prior to a 4 day expedition in the Atlas. I could not have been happier with this place. The staff were very friendly indeed and service was always on hand whenever we needed. Firstly when we arrived we were greeted with some tea and snacks. Secondly they were very generous with... Underfloor heating in February was the reason we chose this accommodation, and it was well worth it for that alone. Fantastic wood burning stove you can sit next to if having dinner there in the evening. The rooms are nice, the one we stayed in on the top floor was huge and had its own balcony on one side and...
