We stayed here for a few nights before ascending Mt Toubkal. Everything was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, including the nuts and tea on arrival on the beautiful deck overlooking the valley. Through Dar Adrar we were connected with Hassan, an amazing English-speaking guide that showed us the way to the summit of Toubkal. They also assisted with some... More

It's not easy to find at night but when you do it's a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, clean rooms, too bad i didn't get to try the food. My only complaint is that the internet was extremely slow. TIP: it's a 5 minute walk up the hill.

The perfect place for peace and quiet. Its a 10 minute walk up a track from the village but don't worry - there will be a mule to carry your bags! The roof stop terrace has stunning views across Imlil to the mountains beyond and if you are trekking with Atlas Trek Shop your adventure starts from the front door.... More

If you want posh and slick this is not the place for you. But given where it is, high in the Atlas mountains, a steep climb up a rocky path from the village where the car drops you off - your luggage piled onto the panniers of a sure-footed mule - this place is amazing. a fabulous roof terrace with... I couldn't speak more highly of Dar Adrar. On arrival in the village a mule was swiftly organised to carry our bags up the hill to the hotel. Hamed walked us up and after showing us our room, promptly brought us mint tea and snacks. It is simply gorgeous, a beautiful roof terrace looking across Imlil, a log fire in... More

We only had one night at Dar Adrar but would have loved more! Mohammed the owner and Hamed the chef couldn't have been better. The room was clean and the views are incredible. We will be back as soon as possible!

We, daughter and I, stayed in Dar Adrar the night after a wonderful trek with Aztat Trekking. Mohamed, the manager booked us into Dar Adrar. Very welcoming, comfortable, hot shower and great food. Its located above Imlil village, a short walk or mule ride. The view from the balcony is superb over the valley, villages to the snow capped High... More

Authentic, homely, welcoming, comfortable, hugely relaxing. Could have moved in for good! We explored the little hamlet the riad was embedded in, met some local kids, felt like we were in the middle of a little community, away from the shops and cafes. Totally different from any other riad we stayed in. And the kids loved riding on a mule... More

We booked into dar adrar for 2 nights..and loved it so much we stayed for 6 ! A charming rustic Berner guesthouse set above the village nestling in spectacular scenery of the High Atlas. We had the room off the roof terrace with its own fireplace, every evening we were given a basket of walnut and cherry logs to burn..a... More

A charming hotel, complete with rustic wall hangings, rugs, window shutters and bathroom doors that can be bolted from the outside. Local style slippers and robes are provided in the rooms, which are on several levels and interspersed with terraces accessed via wacky staircases. The owners are keen to provide excellent service. Thoroughly recommended.
